Many of you have expressed your dissatisfaction of the actions (or non-actions) of House Speaker John Boehner.
Although Speaker Boehner, during his swearing-in speech, promised to LISTEN to and TAKE INSTRUCTION from We the People, he has done exactly the opposite!
The next crucial vote in Congress concerns the raising of the Debt Ceiling. Although the majority of Americans are pleading with Speaker Boehner NOT to allow a raise in the Debt Ceiling, he has made comments stating that the debt ceiling would be raised...not only this time, but again and again and again!
Apparently, Speaker Boehner didn't get the message sent to Washington, DC last November:
STOP THE OUT-OF-CONTROL SPENDING!
Raising the Debt Ceiling will only encourage "spending as usual" by our government officials.
If Speaker Boehner is not going to LISTEN to and TAKE INSTRUCTION FROM We the People, then it's time to remove him from his position and replace him with someone who WILL LISTEN!
Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation has prepared a letter addressed to the House Leadership requesting that John Boehner be replaced as Speaker of the House.
"We need you to sign on to this effort. We must get the Republicans in the House to replace Boehner with someone who has courage and convictions and who will stand up to Obama. We need someone who is not afraid of a fight and who will fight. We need someone whose first thoughts are not how can I cut a deal. We need someone in the Speaker's chair who is more concerned for America and the people than for their next tee time. "
