Thanks for posting Debbie.  I guess they are dying to go to court.  This mess they have will not fly especially in light of the fact Matt S put together a redistricting that has compact districts that make communities and community issues the focus instead of race and some of our council men and women.  This is sad when someone in a public office considers themselves to be more important than following the law.  Apparently, they don't watch or read the news much or they would know the high court already overturned the appeal Corrine and one other already made.  The city of Jacksonville elected officials have a history of ignoring the will of the people though............but for elected officials, we would not have a children's commission (the people voted it down and city council and mayor 16 years ago put one in anyway and put something in the charter to make sure the people couldn't get rid of it).
