Can It Really Be?

Can it really be that my country could move from being the land of the free to the home of the enslaved? Could it be that the American people either don't get it, don't care or don't want liberty to be the foundation of our nation? Could it be that we have become a nation that would rather live as vassals to our lords than as masters of our own destinies?
The singular idea that the United States government could pass any legislation that requires, REQUIRES its citizens to purchase anything is simply beyond the cuff. It is outrageous. It is completely and utterly contraindicative with any semblance of liberty. And to do so in the manner that Congress is doing it is cowardly and disingenuous.
I'm literally sick to my stomach as I watch C-Span. Oh, what was that? Yes, C-Span, where the President of the United States indicated the American public would have the freedom to watch all the negotiations openly and honestly. Of course, I do not see any real negotiations going on. Oh, that's right...it was just an empty campaign promise.
We need single subject legislation.
We need open and honest dialogue.
We need statesman.
We need the government to be LIMITED.
We need the government to represent us. Not control us. Not dictate to us. Not determine our hope & future.

And note...how delightful that (according to Pelosi whom I'm listening to at the moment) our children will have complete and utter coverage through the new healthcare plan. But seniors...make sure you read the medicare cuts. They are beyond alarming. But thanks for all the years you paid into the system.






I cannot wait until the vote in November.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
