Community First Saturdays celebrates our great St. Johns this Saturday, April 6th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at a new location on the Northbank Riverwalk Downtown.
The event is NOW held on the Riverwalk behind the Times Union Center next to the Jacksonville Landing.
Come early and take part in the Hubbard House 4th Annual Setting the Pace for Peace Domestic Violence Awareness Walk!
This new space for Community First Saturdays is just a short walk (through the Landing) from previous events held near the Old Courthouse Parking Lot, which is still open for free parking on the east end of the Riverwalk.
We have numerous activities the whole family will enjoy.
Through our dynamic partnership with JTA the Skyway runs from 9am to 5pm during Community First Saturdays and in April we have a Skyway treat for you! Join our special Skyway Scavenger Hunt starting at Kings Avenue Station and explore Downtown via fun clues and activities. Every completed hunt earns a free prize and one lucky winner gets a free bike! Check our website for more details about the hunt! The kids LOVE the SKYWAY!
Well then how about beer? Yep, we've got beer! Come join Jax Beer Week's Grand Tasting event, part of Community First Saturdays. Nearly every craft beer brewed in Florida will be available on our river from Noon to 4 pm. Jax Beer Week has also provided us with excellent LIVE MUSIC! If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
