We need all the help we can get, with the political climate right now, for public transportation," said Denis Eirikis, who is heading the IM4Transit.org campaign.

Eirikis and others, who hope to collect 100,000 names by this summer, expressed outrage over a report issued by the Los Angeles-based Reason Foundation. The foundation told Gov. Rick Scott that a bullet train between Tampa and Orlando would eventually cost taxpayers $3 billion more than estimated.

"Florida has the chance to be the pioneer in high-speed rail. Florida, go for it," said Art Guzzetti, vice president for policy at the American Public Transportation Association in Washington.

The new high-speed rail coalition will lobby legislators and the governor to bring private-sector companies into the funding mix, said Barney Bishop of Associated Industries of Florida.

“The new high-speed rail coalition will lobby legislators and the governor to bring private-sector companies into the funding mix, said Barney Bishop of Associated Industries of Florida”.

Associated Industries is very secretive as to who their members and Boards  identity. They were created in 1920 right along side the FED, IACM and many of the original NGOs in America.
This is all part of the UN’s regional government master plan to implement it’s “Biodiversity” and “Human Settlement” programs , part of Agenda 21. Mass transportation is part of what the UN calls “Corridors”. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to replace individual modes of travel with collective modes of travel as described by Peter  Drucker, the author of “Post Capitalist Society” Harvey Ruvin is facilitating this program in Miami Dade as we speak and has openly stated that he wants to get rid of all personal modes of transportation..

Further, guess who jobs would be created for? Unions. I smell unions!

Yes, they've just about completely eradicated private transport in many countries. Most have heavy, heavy road taxes on top of other taxes so that the average person can't afford a car (heads up). I remember being on the AutoBan in England years ago (looked like it cost a fortune) and there were very few cars on it, which hit me as very strange at the time.

OK, this sounds very Orwellian. If Florida were not in the economic mess we are in, i would be for a high speed rail system in Florida. But, Florida is broke, we can not afford to build this massive rail system at this date and time. First we must fix our state. Then we can sit down and talk about a new rail system.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
