Creshaw suffers a nasty little rebuke from his own party (3 Articles); the fate of HR 5882

For those of you, like myself, who are represented by Ander Crenshaw, I am still wondering what he could have been thinking.  Surely, he can't be that out of touch that he does something that draws a rebuke from his own party by proposing a bill that is at odds with the current polices of his own party.  And I guess for me, I would wonder when Mr. Crenshaw last read our constitution?  Perhaps, he needs to take out his copy of the constitution and read it over again.  He is not in charge of us and does not withhold (ever) information from the people about what he and his colleagues are doing.  He works for the people, and they have every right to know exactly what this man and every other member of congress is doing!

...................................................................

Crenshaw has some explaining to do if he doesn’t think Americans can handle the data. I reached out to his office for a comment but did not receive a reply.
Rep. Crenshaw, whose appropriations subcommittee issued a draft report last week that nearly halted access to “bulk data downloads,” now “agree[s] to free legislative information” according to a statement written jointly with House leaders yesterday

The task force originally proposed by the appropriations committee has now been preempted by a new task force called at the discretion of House Leadership to investigate how to make the data files available. Although the new task force still has no deadline and lacks public input (see Daniel’s post), we know that House Leaders — Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Cantor — have made good on those sorts of promises recently.
House Leaders Back Bulk Access to Legislative Information

WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), Legislative Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Ander Crenshaw (R-FL), and Oversight & Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) released the following statement today regarding House efforts to provide bulk access to legislative information:

“The coming vote on the Legislative Branch appropriations bill marks an important milestone for the House of Representatives: the moment lawmakers agree to free legislative information from the technical limits of years past and embrace a more open, more transparent, and more effective way of doing the people’s business. Our goal is to provide bulk access to legislative information to the American people without further delay.

I agree with you as well Hank and think the 2 fellows running are both good and Black lists all of Crenshaw's bad votes on his handout (so we are well aware..........but it really is worse than most realize).

Ander Crenshaw needs to be retired. He is a Big Govt. Deficit Spending RINO. His voting record is horrid. His Heritage Action Scorecard rating is 57% as of today 6/8/12. His votes in the past few days as recorded here show that he supports BIG DEFICIT SPENDING (http://www.redstate.com/dhorowitz3/2012/06/08/energy-water-appropri...).

He should be embarrassed to show his face at Duval GOP Meetings, but he isn't as leadership is mute on his voting record so those who do not dig into his record are unaware. Crenshaw speaks of fiscal responsibility yet has voted for spending the past 2 years in total that is equal to or higher than the prior than the DEMS CR spending. He is a political coward along with the GOP House Leadership (nearly all the Chairman included) as they will not STOP the spending by saying no to CR's and shutting down the govt to gain leverage for real cuts!

We need GOP leadership with a backbone as well as membership.

You have a choice this August as Bob Black and Jim Klauder are running against Ander Crenshaw. Do your homework and  let's throw out Crenshaw the Deficit Spending RINO.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
