Florida Action Alert: Bill HB1209; bill to block the introduction of Shira Law to the courts in Florida

A member of the Arlington Group sent this along to me this morning, and I am sharing it with all of you as it is very important to get this bill passed that disallows Shira Law in our Florida courts.

FLORIDA ACTION ALERT! ***

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR
STATE REPRESENTATIVE LARRY METZ’S
AMERICAN LAWS FOR AMERICAN COURTS BILL

Getting HB1209 passed is critical to the legal system in floruda, This bill would block the introduction of Shira Law to the courts in Florida and would help stop legalizing such Radical Islamic programs such as :

1. Legalization of discrimination against women such as forced marriages for underage children and legalization of polygamy.

2. Legalization of sanctions against young daughters and sons who would not have the right to choose their own marriage partners, especially if the proposed spouse or friend is not an adherant to Islam.

3. Forfeiture of both Florida and Federal case law by at least one of the litigants.

4. Use of "fake marriages" to enable unauthorized immigrants to come into the United States and bypass the normal immigration requirements of our legal system.

5. Potential legalization in the future of such crimes as "Honor" killings by family members.

Well that is the problem then because you can't have it both ways. Either the rules of state always usurp the rules of a church or they never do. A woman was denied her civil rights because a "church" denied them. SCOTUS said nothing feds can do to intervene. OK, but then it is okay for mosques to deny their employees their civil rights. They cannot extend such power over congregants but have full power to do that to their employees. How long before that is extended to congregants?

There's church affairs and then, there's church affairs, and the church saying it's ok to murder someone...........hmmmm I don't think so or at least not in the United States where it is clearly against the law. If someone belongs to a religion that allows murder they might ought to stay where they are, because you can't do it here and they know it when they enter the country and before no matter where they come from.   I do like the ruling, but they were talking about something legal that would happen in a free country.  I don't think the Obama administration ought to be determining who should or should not work for a church or what they should ahve to pay or provide in benefits:)

SCOTUS just ruled this past week that governments are prohibited from interfering in church affairs.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
