If you can't say anything else about Obama it is certainly that his theme song is TAX, TAX, TAX, TAX.  Here we go again out there trying to make sure moving to another state won't be helping anyone's tax situation.  Now he wants level taxes coming from all the states too!  As well as leveling the affluence of everyone, so he can continue to SPEND, SPEND, SPEND AND SPEND SOME MORE!

Earlier this week, White House economic adviser Gene Sperling announced his support for changes in the tax structure. “[W]e need a global minimum tax so that people have the assurance that nobody is escaping doing their fair share as part of a race to the bottom or having our tax code actually subsidized and facilitate people moving their funds to tax havens,” Sperling said at an official White House meeting. He even indicated that President Obama “supports” this change.

Technically, it would not be a “Global Tax” but a punitive tax , an unnamed White House “official” told Politico, on American companies “that ship jobs overseas.”

The reason these companies ship jobs overseas is that they can’t compete globally because costs are too high in the United States. The way to remedy the problem is to lower taxes here. Instead, the Obama Administration has resorted to class warfare rhetoric. No wonder. He’s seen the polls. If 72% of New Yorkers want rich people to pay more in taxes, it’s quite obvious that slapping a minimum tax on oversea corporations is an easy sell.

These same people will bellyache that everything they buy will be more expensive and blame the corporations. The corporations aren’t the problem; it’s the taxing structure, and I might add, the unions. The unions killed the American textile industry in the United States. It’s nearly killed the automobile industry.

Maybe the President should push a “basic minimum” tax on the 47 percent of Americans who don’t pay a dime in Federal income taxes but who vote for more taxes on their more productive and job-creating neighbors.

Here is the link to the Hillsdale course, and from what I understand if you have to watch the class at a different time from when it is run, the videos to do so will be available.  They are asking for a donation, but you do not have to give one if you can't afford to.  Link:  https://www.hillsdaleoffer.com/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&...

Nicely put on all fronts, John!  There is at least one free constitution course, on line. at Hillsdale college.  It is called constitution 101 and starts on February 20th.

John, we have a lot of bad republicans, but one wonders "are they really republicans".  Or are they "progressive" republicans (not really republicans at all).  Then, as in locally, we have folks like Cresimbeni who is a stated democrat, but is a fiscal conservative and uses a common sense approach to everything, so you really do have to look at who it is, what their record is, and what they are saying they will do.   Rhode Island is a funny place as well.  They have fairly liberal republicans as it is not as bad as taxachusetts, but it is right next door and the folks are very similiar politically.

Exactly Roma :).  It will be totally worthless anyway, so someone might as well eat it.  And I wonder if the Obamination will move us into the stack and packs before or after he creates this dream of an economy???

I don't know Roma...............doesn't really sound like enough jobs for all kind of economy.  Certainly, right now, the trillion plus the Obamination is spending every year is keeping the economy limping along barely and this plan doesn't sound like a huge improvement except perhaps some folks would be working in this wack economy and still getting mostly a handout.  Wonder if that is what they mean............they tax the you know what out of everyone over 250,000 and then, the federal government keeps the economy limping along on make believe jobs using the same materials over and over forever with no job increases, and no growth and no money to pay down the debt etc.  Just flat!

John, weren't you the one correcting me on my spelling recently? I just had to take this availabel opportunity to return the favor.................Lmao

As for term limits, I agree that is not what our founders had in mind, what we need is an educated American voter but they are few and far between. The public education system is a joke. (they have kindergardeners in Texas reciting Obama poems and singing Obama songs) they have successfully succeed in dumbing down America. The average american voter can not even tell you who Nancy Polosi and John Boehner are. We may have already passed the point of no return. As long as the dumb masses believe the class warfare and all of the liberal propoganda they will continue to vote for who ever promises them a bigger share of someone else's stuff. The Tea Party is really our last hope of educating enough voters to get Ron Paul or any other true conservative elected. It maybe to little to late, Im not sure that we can turn this country around anymore. Im not ready to give up yet but I don't think that things are looking very good for us right now.

Roma, right now, I would be happy with someone who even made an attempt to abide by the constitution................it would be such a change from Obama, we would probably all be in a state of shock for a week or two at least.   And, by the way Roma, I agree that we need to elect political leaders who will understand the constitution and abide by their oath (which by the way says "I will do my best" not I will adamantly stick to it and never run amuck.  Now, the other thing is, where are all these folks, and how do we get them to run for office?  From where I am sitting, we have a lot of people running for office and about half of them are communists or so moderate they are a little to far left of center to be anyone you want in office!

Right now John, you would have to drag them kicking and screaming.  Many just say, "I don't do politics".  I think to myself, "Do you do and enjoy being free?".   People do not and will not make the connection nor do they read enough of anybody who knows to find out that if they don't step up to the plate, they will be slaves or surfs or whatever Obama decides.  By the by, I just got something corker that blows huge holes in everything Obama is saying right now.............the new CBO.  They crucified Obamanomics!  Let me see if I can get something up on it tonight before I crawl into bed!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
