I received this in my Email this morning from Heritage Foundation and will post for those who do not get newsletters from Heritage.

Late last week, the Obama administration submitted a new offer to Senate Republicans in a last-minute attempt to gain Republican support for ratification of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) during the Senate’s lame duck session. The deal would provide an additional $4 billion for modernizing America’s nuclear arsenal in exchange for the Senate’s confirmation of New START.

Call Senator Kyl and urge him not to accept this dangerous deal: 202-224-4521.

We oppose ratification of New START because of serious, substantive policy concerns – concerns no amount of money will not mollify. Earlier this month, Heritage Action targeted 10 states, including Arizona, with direct mail pieces. The mailer urged constituents to call their Senators and tell them to oppose the treaty, which “put Russia’s military interests ahead of our own.”

Now we need to increase the pressure. Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) has been actively negotiating with the administration on New START. Call his office today. Tell him New START is fatally flawed and should not be used as a bargaining chip for nuclear modernization spending.

As the lame duck session begins, we need to you to stay in the fight. Together we can stop New START.
