I fought for you. Susan, Gayle, Chris, Alexis, Del, Inky, George, Sheila, Monte, Jeremy and everyone else. I don't know if any one has seen this or if it has been posted. I have pasted it around and got it back from several veterans. It helps to explain how those of us that were in the service feel about what we did. For those of you that get this and are veterans consider this a hardy hand shake from me to you and a thank you for what you did for me and my family. For those of you that get this and live with a veteran look at them right now and think of what they have been threw, what sacrifices they made, how proud they are to have done so. This veterans day don’t let it just be another day make it special for them. They most likely didn’t get a big parade when they came home or got out of the service. So take this opportunity to explain to your children that yes daddy is a hero. He may or may not have killed a lot of the enemy but if he took the oath stayed in and did his time some where along the line I can promises you he did something heroic to his buddies his men, the people that counted on him or her to be there day in and day out to do there job how ever boring or mundane. It takes all types to get the job done. Trust me they will appreciate it and it will make those of us that are having a trouble dealing with those years a little happier.
