Sarasota GOP has put a petition up against Common Core, and we all need to get on board and sign the petition. I am so pleased they took part in standing against this destruction of our education system in our state and the federal over reach to take over the public education system in this country. PLEASE HELP STOP COMMON CORE NOW!!!

No, Scott did not take the money. Charlie Crist took the money for Race to the Top or whatever it was, and Common Core got piggy backed on that. It was either implement or pay the other money back (black mail). We need to bite the bullet, pay the money back, and get away from this indoctrination program for the children of Florida.

Actually Franklin, the petition is from the Sarasota GOP which is extremely activist in a manner of speaking, so this petition probably is a good one. Blind petitions where you don't even know who has started it maybe not. And yet, a physical presence is probably better, but you can't be everywhere, and the Sarasota group can utilize our signatures to impact the issue. There are now over 2,000 signatures and considering, that is quite a few.

Agree Robert. We are doing our best! They have now gotten tons of signatures and think way beyond what they expected. They need more!!!

It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening!
