It's time we start calling a spade a spade. This is no longer about extending the "Bush Tax Cuts" it's nothing less than the "Obama Tax Increase".

Maybe the more correct term would be the "Obama, Reed & Pelosi Tax Increase" or perhaps "The ORP Tax Increase". But it has nothing to do with extending the current tax rates. It's all about increasing taxes to take more from those who work to give to those who refuse to work, special interests and the continued growth and expansion of the Federal Government.

I find it interesting that the media and Democrats continue to talk about the "cost" of extending the current tax rates yet the truth is there is NO COST involved. What is involved is fewer dollars being transferred from the taxpayers to the Federal Government. To be honest this isn't a cost but rather "lost revenue opportunity" to the Government.

The fundamental fact is - this is Our money! It doesn't and never did belong to the Federal Government thus it is totally improper, and wrong,to refer to it as a cost.

In his book "Words Count" pollster Frank Luntz emphasizes the importance of framing the argument in the correct terms. So let's start using the correct term: "Obama Tax Increase".
