Liberty Central needs your input on Town Hall attendence on their poll

Remember last year when thousands of people flocked to their local Congressional Town Hall meetings to hold their Congressmen accountable for their terrible and irresponsible actions in Congress? We have a simple question: "Will you be going to a Townhall event this August to hold your Congressmen accountable?"

Please take part in our poll about Town Halls under the "Listening" column today at www.libertycentral.org.

Here's why we need your input today: Liberty Central Founder Ginni Thomas will be on Fox News' Neil Cavuto tomorrow and we would like to reference our poll to accurately reflect the intentions of Americans across the nation. We want to speak for you about this issue.

We need to turn back to God, but also be wise in our decisions. Politicians are not going to save America, but God!

If Americans would start looking at what the candidates believe, instead of how they might make them rich we could change our nation. When morals, actions and reputation no longer matter, but money, America falls. We used to be a strong, united nation, under God but when we kick God out we can see the effects of our morals, crime and economy. Why is our voice not heard?

You are correct. We are stuck with his incompetance for 2 more years. Thanks Bill, you will vote for Elena Kagen. GREAT !!! Another progressive judge. Hold on tight. This administration makes heading for the hills look like a wonderful idea. Most important, trust in God, he already knows this is happening, and going to get worse. Don't let politics bog you down. IT WILL DEPRESS YOU !! Keep your faith strong and trust God. He already knows the ending. VOTE INFORMED !!

Joseph. Bill Nelson represents the people of Florida as one of TWO Senators from the state. He does not have a district. He is as responsible to you as he is to everyone else in the state! Unfortunately, he is not up for re-election until 2012--we have two more years of his nonsense!

I wish Bill Nelson were in my district because I would vote him out of office. He was instrumental in not getting legislation passed to allow citizens with concealed weapons permits to cross state lines without breaking federal interstate firearms laws. In the meantime, thousands of citizens are breaking those laws every day travelling with their legal firearms across state lines of other states with reciprocal agreements. There are solutions to the problem to not violate the law, but getting rid of Nelson would be the first and best solution to the problem. Perhaps the vote will come up, again, in 2011.

Last year Senator Nelson canceled town halls and was then unavailable because he was traveling outside the country. When he returned he once again had numerous reasons why he could not spare time for his constituents. I just called his local office [904-346-4500] and asked if he had any town halls scheduled, no was the answer. I expressed my desire for Senator Nelson to have a town hall, they took my name and address. Even if we don't get a town hall scheduled, why not flood the local office with requests? If anything, 5 minutes of effort from each of our members could really send a message. It likely won't get us a town hall, but it will let his staff know "We the People" are not going anywhere.

My Congressman is Corinne Brown, it would be an absolute waste of my time to attempt any discouse with her.

I will be attending today in Mayo, FL (4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Mayo Cafe) as Allen Boyd (D), Congressional District 2, has one of three scheduled Town Hall meetings. He will not come to Live Oak this year, probably because of the beating he got here last year. I guess he is staying in what he feels are safer locations this year. Friday he will be in Monticello, his home city, (5:30 - 7:00 P.M. at the Brick House Eatery) and Saturday he will be in Marianna (3:00 - 4:30 P.M. at Madison's Warehouse).

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
