A message to all members of FLORIDA 9/12 PROJECT

------------
Governor Scott has not as of yet signed SB 2120 which would abolish the State Instructional Materials Committee (SIMC).  ....  The Governor stated he is waiting to see how many people throughout the State actually contact him .

Below is a letter to the Governor that can be sent.  Of course, it can be edited to fit an individual's personal beliefs.  Please email this letter to your contact list and ask everyone to send it to the Governor ASAP.

His email is:  Rick.Scott@eog.myflorida.com  Fax is:  (850) 487-0801
The Governor needs to be inundated with letters!
It's NOT too late to correct this!

Suggested letter:

Dear Governor Scott,

Up until now, parents, grandparents, and other laypeople have participated in the State Instructional Materials Committee (SIMC). This committee has been made up of people with different backgrounds from all parts of the State of Florida, With this input, there is a greater chance that the textbooks approved by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) best represent what the people of our great State want for their children.

With the passage of Section 1006.29 of SB 2120, laypeople will no longer take part in the approval of textbooks. We, the People of Florida, do not accept this. We want you to veto this section, as it places the choice of textbooks on a few “expert” people. These “experts” may not reflect the consensus of the people.
Please do not sign this legislation as it stands now. The rights of the people of the State of Florida to have a say in what their children learn will be denied.

Signed,

Hat tip: Jenifer

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
