Obama is sprinting down the path of a one-term president. At a time when Obama needed something to turn his quickly shrinking poll numbers around, he voices his support for the Ground Zero mosque. Obama's agenda now is quite simple: Whatever American's think or wish, do the opposite. When was the last time this president honestly did something that the majority of Americans approved? None of his major legislative victories garnered much support from the voters. We also have this trend where Obama continually tries to appease Muslims and Muslim countries while continually attacking America and American values. Let's take a look at this trend.

While traveling abroad, Obama loves to take his shots at America. While in Europe just after his election, Obama proudly claimed “I would like to think that with my election, we’re starting to see some restoration of America’s standing in the world.” Yes, the evil America that has brought more prosperity to this world than any nation in history will finally have world-wide approval. Only the election of the great one will allow such an event to transpire. While in Strasboug, Obama said the U.S. “failed to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world”. What roll would that be? You could say Europe has played a leading roll in showing liberalism and a heavy welfare state will financially ruin your country. I guess Obama and our politicians in Washington do fail to appreciate that one. But what exactly did we fail to recognize Obama? He went a little further on this and explained, “Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” Liberating an entire continent from the threat of Nazi oppression is pretty arrogant and derisive.

The UN is well known for not being a big fan of America, even though its headquarters are here and the majority of their funds come from the taxpayers of this great nation. While speaking to the UN, Obama took another cheap shot at his country: "Part of this was due to opposition to specific policies, and a belief that on certain critical issues, America has acted unilaterally, without regard for the interests of others. This has fed an almost reflexive anti-Americanism. America has too often been selective in its promotion of democracy." Speak for yourself Mr. President. You chose to sit idle while Iran decided to shoot their citizens who were protesting election results. Yet, when the president of Honduras was democratically tossed out of office by the citizens of that country, you immediately attacked Honduras for removing a man who attempted to implement a dictatorship. Not only that, but Obama took time to criticize our biggest ally in the Middle East, Israel. Obama challenged the legitimacy of Israeli settlements along the supposed Palestinian border which drew huge applause from the UN: " We continue to emphasize that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements." No words from Obama regarding the peaceful Palestinians launching rockets at Israeli civilians. In Obama's mind, if Israel just gave up more of their land to their enemies then there would be peace in the Middle East.

It doesn't stop there. This is Obama in China: "If you talk to women in America, they will tell you that there are still men who have a lot of old-fashioned ideas about the role of women in society." Yeah, women are so oppressed in this country compared to other parts of the world. They can even run for president. That's just terrible to think about. I'm sure Obama feels the same way about women in Muslim countries under Sharia law.

But while Obama has spent so much time apologizing to the world for America and whatever travesties we might have committed before he was in charge, he has been on a mission to make nice exclusively with the Muslim world. Obama really got the Muslim world excited by trashing Israel at the UN. Last Easter, Obama traveled to Turkey to tell them: "We [Americans] do not consider ourselves a Christian nation." That's quite a statement to make in front of a Muslim country on the most important day of the year for Christians. Gallup has recently reported that 77% of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Recently, Obama asked NASA Administrator, Chales Bolton, to "find ways to reach out to dominantly Muslim countries". The AP reported "President Barack Obama's advisers plan to remove terms such as "Islamic radicalism" from a document outlining national security strategy and will use the new version to emphasize that the U.S. does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terrorism, counterterrorism officials say". In April this year, Obama launched a Muslim entrepreneur business summit. Obama addressed the Muslim world in Cairo last year where he claimed "throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality." Egypt is well known for their religious tolerance. The Egyptian Muslim council made it illegal to build any new churches in their country while comparing Christianity to "nightclubs" and "pigstyes" the same year Obama made his speech praising Islam's religious tolerance.

The big story though is Obama's recent support for the Ground Zero mosque. 9/11 is something that can never be erased from our minds. Radical Muslims killed 3,000 innocent Americans in the name of Allah. Those responsible for this mosque originally named it Cordoba. By definition, Cordoba is is the name militant Muslims often invoke when they recall the glory of Muslim empire in the centuries they occupied Spain. Many Muslims see Sept. 11th as a victory for Islam. Imam Faisal payed $4.85 Million in cash for this mosque, yet no word on where the money came from. This Imam blamed America for 9/11 and also refuses to recognize Hamas and Hezbullah as terrorist organizations. But, Obama supports this man's cause! Ground Zero is sacred to Americans, especially those in New York. A recent CNN poll showed nearly 70% of Americans are opposed to the mosque. Obama once again is ignoring the will of the people. What on earth is going on up there.
