PRESIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE ORDERS THAT ENDANGER OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC AND FREEDOMS

Tea Party Patriots:

Below is the content of an e-mail newsletter I received this morning that includes information that every American needs to read, in order to understand the nature of what we are facing under a federal administration that ignores and refuses to enforce the rule of law and The Constitution of the United States. It helps to explain why this president refuses to enforce our border and immigration laws, has changed the rules of engagement for the U.S. Border Patrol to prevent their fully enforcing the law, sued the state of Arizona and ordered that state not to enforce their border with Mexico, and set aside a swath of land from the Mexican border up into Arizona where they warn Americans not to go because it is a dangerous drugs and human trafficking area.  Our country's northern and southern borders are not being protected and are as porous as a sieve. And, Arizona seems to have been made the gateway for the Mexican drug cartels that now operate in many large cities all over this country... and who knows what and who else.

So, is our president and his administration importing the wherewithall to stir up the crisis that his preacher's good friend Louis Farakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam (Muslim Brotherhood), warned us of when he stated a few months ago that fighting, like that in the streets Egypt, would "be coming to the streets of America soon?" That fighting in Egypt's streets was incited in order to enable a Muslim Brotherhood generated overthrow of the Egyptian government by ousting it's leader of 40 years, who had signed a peace treaty with Israel.

These dangerous executive orders are accompanied by laws that have been enacted, during the first eighteen months of the current administration, through Democrats' total control in both the Executive and Legislative branches of government. During that time, they shut Republican U.S. Representatives and Senators out of the process of representing the voices of the American people who elected them.  In other words, they disenfranchised us to steamroll their progressive agenda through. They have clearly violated the Constitution, the sovereignty of the States, and the constitutional rights of the American people.

What you will be reading is a real eye-opener, with information that, if looked at piecemeal, might irritate or confound you, but when brought together makes the last two and a half years under this administration's created crises, damaging foreign policy, shutting off American-produced oil sources and making us dependent on oil from countries who could collectively shut off a huge portion of it, closing and/or taking over American banks and businesses, giving free reign to the Federal Reserve and International Monetary Fund, spreading taxpayers' money in the U.S. Treasury to bail out governments of foreign countries, manipulating markets, promoting subsidizing to distort the market and transfer costs from businesses to taxpayers, and so on..., it invokes an entirely new picture... or perhaps an omen.

Here is the article, the link to the website is below it, and that website also offers online news radio that is very informative.

************

"You'd want to think that your government has your best interests at heart, wouldn't you? However, time and again they just keep proving that we're engaging in wishful thinking when it comes to the "why" of what they do and the legislation that they pass. In fact ...Take these executive orders, for instance:

... we are subject to a government that seeks at every turn to undermine our constitutional rights ...

Executive Order 10995: Seizure of all communications media - radio, television, newspapers, CB and Ham radio, telephones and the internet (in effect, suspension of the first amendment)

Executive Order 10997: Seizure of all electrical power and fossil fuels

Executive Order 10998: Seizure of all food sources, farms and farm equipment. Food will be rationed. Today some states have anti-hoarding laws on the books, stating that anything over a one week's supply of food is considered hoarding and against the law.

Executive Order 10999: Seizure of all transportation and control of all highways, interstates and seaports. Any vehicle, public or private, can be taken.

Executive Order 11000: Seizure of all civilians for work under Federal supervision.

Executive Order 11003: Seizure of all airports and aircraft, public or private.

Executive Order 11004: Housing and Finance given authority for population relocation.

Executive Order 12919: Directs various Cabinet officials to be ready to take over virtually all aspects of the United States economy during a "state of national emergency" at the direction of the president.

Executive Order 13010: Directs FEMA to take control over all government agencies in times of emergency. FEMA is under the direct control of the executive (presidential) branch of government.

Executive Order 11490: Establishes presidential control over all United States citizens, businesses, and churches in times of "emergency"

These are executive orders passed by presidents--Republican and Democrat alike--elected to preserve our freedoms and the Constitution. Their very duplicities show that they have no intention of honoring the ideals of the constitutional republic handed down to us, that they are the very men that the Founders warned us about.
In fact, our Founders understood that this constitutional model could be overturned and made ineffective should the restraining power of the people against the federal government be made moot through judicial or legislative process.
Men like John Adams, James Madison, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton all viewed the separation of powers to be indispensable to the continuation and preservation of liberty and the United States.
So what does the passage of these Executive Orders tell us? It tells us this ...

The dominoes are in place to subject the American people to a state of martial law nationwide."

JL, I agree that the early presidents very likely intended such orders to be more in the nature of a proclamation or declaration. Like so many other things that have become distorted in government, it's possible it was taken to a different level by degrees and actually reached the point of being distorted and used as a means of circumventing the Congress' legislating powers. Similar, I think, to the unconstitutional War Powers Act(referred to as War Powers Resolution) that would only be legal and enforceable had it been added to the Constitution by Amendment. As it is, it is unconstitutional, for it is not even mentioned in the Constitution. The Constitution makes very clear that only the Congress can declare war. Rob Natelson agrees with that and so does constitutional law attorney Bruce Fein, who drafted the Artlicles of Impeachment that were used to Impeach Bill Clinton. He has also drafted Articles of Impeachment against Barack Obama for his unconstitutionally taking this country to war in Libya without a Declaration of War by Congress. Obama took this country to war in Libya by issuing an "Edict." (Justice Dept. terminology) According to them, that was a justified action, based on its "historic gloss," whatever that means.

What about EO 12803?  Did we get sold to China?

JL, that was an interesting article by Thomas Sowell, who does such a good job of providing background and documentation in his journalism. As usual, he made some very good points.
Also, thanks for posting those very useful links. Rob Natelson is my main go to reference on the Constitution, as is Thomas E. Woods on Nullification and Interposition. I like the Tenth Amendment Center, also, and get their periodic e-mails. Wouldn't it be nice to have a webpage here just for references and resources links?

By the way, I hope everyone saw the notice about the City Council Subcommittee Meeting on Ethics tomorrow, June 2 at 1:30p.m. at the Council Building across from Hemming Plaza. It is critical that they go on and get that Ethics bill passed, as is. I am planning to be there and hope others will attend, as well.

JR, years ago, i always took a executive order to be a proclamation of sorts, or a direction to the federal branches not something that would circumvent the U.S. Constitution. Washington's first executive order (him being the chief executive) was to proclaim the first national day of Thanksgiving.

Amanda, I expressed no opinion about the founding fathers' executive orders in my blog. If their EOs were purely administrative, that would fit within the president's role as administrator (Chief Executive) or as Commander in Chief of the military in a military matter other than declaring war, which only the Congress was granted the enumerated power to do.
It is a fact that no power to issue executive orders is anywhere enumerated or granted by the Constitution of the United States to any of the three branches of government, no matter which presidents have issued them. The President is an administrator, not a legislator. If you can find any such Constitution-granted power for issuance of EOs, please furnish that documentation. And, since an EO would have the implied force and weight of law, it's my opinion that they would be unconstitutional backdoor legislating by the Executive Branch. Only the U.S. Congress was granted the enumerated constitutional power to pass laws.
This blog is about the EOs referenced in it, not Obama's 84 EOs and not the founding fathers' EOs. Feel free to post your own blog about those and I will surely read it.
By the way, I also have qualms about Obama's actions to provide less transparency and to weaken security for this country, whether by executive order or failing to enforce existing laws.

That was JR, Amanda. Executive Orders if you read the U.S. Constitution, are unconstitutional. If  you look back you will learn that they have greatly evolved from their original intent. I really do not understand why you are defending Obama, he is clearly an avowed Marxist. He has surrounded himself with the same thinking people and he also used Saul Alinsky's book Rules for Radicals as his guide to train community organizers and A.C.O.R.N.

To say that Obama's EO's lead to less transparency is a understatement. His whole Presidency has been about lies, smoke and mirrors, this has to be the least transparent administration in U.S. History. If you read the Article II in the U.S. Constitution, they do not give the President complete power but designate the President as chief executive, the first sentence in Section 1.

He needs to be removed from office period before  he does any more damage, it has been so disheartening to see the unconscionable things he has done to our country. Hopefully he will be kept in check by the House. There is video of a woman who is in tears from Tuscaloosa Alabama, she said that President Obama would send help for everyone, and a month later she says NONE has arrived. She said she voted for Obama but would not ever vote for him again because he lied and he continues to do so. He does not care, even when says he does, you can feel the disingenuous and arrogance of his statements. He is clearly out of touch with reality. His European trip clearly showed the same when he tried to talk with a Irish accent and sounded like Chucky, then he went to toast the Queen and talked over her song which is unheard of. He signed the Winchester Abbey's visitor log and dated the year 2008.

Where are all the people who made the ugly statements against Palin and President Bush? Just because someone is so called educated just means they have studied and received a degree but it can not measure up to real life experience and common sense. This administration and the Progressive Liberals prove that time after time. If the world blew up tomorrow, these people could not survive on their own, but i can guarantee Palin and Bush could and they would help others along the way. Just my thoughts.

I am sorry I wrote "differ" when I meant to write "defer". I defer to those who wrote the constitution as to its correct interpretation, all the while freely admitting that Iam no scholar on this subject. I simply do not have time. I did read on several sites that people thought that EO's were unconstitutional. They did not seem to me to be that credible. But the mere fact that Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison all used EO's makes me think that they were accepted as legal. Washington, seemed of all Presidents the most concerned about extending power too far for the presidency.

JL, I have actually done some research on Executive Orders, here is some of what Ifound. The first executive order was signed into law in 1789, by George Washington. Later John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison also signed Executive Orders. So the notion that they are unconstitutional is suspect since three of these guys were very involved in the writing of the Constitution. Though that they could have a different take on it the others and that they could be wrong is entirely within the realm of the possible. But really, in this case I am going to differ to those who wrote it.

As for being an Obama apologist That is fine if that is how you see it. On the EO's he placed into law that I would have qualms about I would say they were security related and lead to less transparency in the name of national security. You?

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
