I haven't been watching much tv in the last couple of years. I lost interest when I discovered the internet gave me a better feel for what is really going on than listening to CNN and the others. CNN really took off with its coverage of the first Gulf War. It was a major blow to my confidence in tv journalism when I compared the RNC coverage by CNN (lack of coverage) and C-SPAN (live coverage) in the 2000 election. Lately, FOX has been hiring more liberals than I want to devote my time to.

I am starting to save my pennies for a HAM radio in case the current progressive government succeeds in controlling the internet content. Our overseas friends are keenly interested in what happens here. The US is the light in the dark for them. They could see that there was a political system that worked. Its failure today is not a failure of the system but a failure of the citizens to care for their political system.

The US have gone through a nation's life cycle: birth in the Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence at great cost to most of the signers, building of a capitalist nation based on individual freedom and personal responsibility and resolved major internal conflict with the Civil War. Despite wanting to mind its own business the US was blindsided with the attack on Pearl Harbor while the world's attention was focused on Europe's war. The US recovered and mobilized to defeat the offensive force in Europe and Japan. The US then did what no other victor nation has ever done in civilization's history. After defeating the morally and politically corrupt leaders of those countries the US helped the citizens of the offending nations rebuild their countries. We (I was born at the end of the war and immigrated to the US) explored space and the depths of our oceans, all while fighting several other wars on foreign soil. All this in 225 years. After these accomplishments we started showing our age.

We became occupied with our own well being and ignored the signs of aging of our nation. We hosted Bar-B-Ques for our golfing buddies, discussing the last round, and paid no attention to the direction our country was being taken by our elected leaders. But, we elected them and we are responsible for their actions.

Today, we are in a fight for the survival of our country. Will we let it die at the mountain top or will we help it be born again while on the mountain top? Will we fight for the rebirth of our nation or sit on our hands and witness the abortion of this nation? I choose to fight.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
