It's time to take away Obama's keys to Air Force One ! Does anyone have any idea what it cost to fly the President across the country to give a speech about nothing and then also give a campain speech while he is there on the tax-payers dime. Here is just a little of what it cost us. The day before or just hours before the trip Air Force Transport "Planes" deliver one of his Limos and sometimes his three helicopters and all of the Secret Service and their vehicles to the location the President is visiting that day.  We are paying for close to 10 THOUSAND gallons of jet fuel per plane, so if you figure two transport planes and Air Force One that's 30,000 gallons of jet fuel @ $4.00 a gallon ( the price of diesel fuel) jet fuel is somewhat more, that's $120,000.00 for fuel and not counting manpower and maintance. I know when President Bush came to Jacksonville on one of his trips the Secret Service was in town a week before so this cost money because you know they don't stay in a Motel-6. The Government will not tell anyone how much fuel is actually burned per hour by Air Force One. Per the History Channel when our President flys out of this country they fly two identical aircraft , so that's twice the fuel and manpower. One way we can cut the budget and save MILLIONS of dollars is to keep Air Force One on the ground and the President in Washington D.C. doing his job. Another great expence is before the President gets on Air Force One he is picked up by one of three helicopters of which one becomes Marine One when the President gets on it, then he is delivered to Andrews Air Force Base where Air Force One is hangered. I care to guess every trip taken by the President on OUR taxpayer Corporate Jet cost us at least a million dollars per round trip! I don't know about everybody else, but I find it hard to put a hundred dollars every two days in my truck's fuel tank to try and keep my head above water and pay my taxes only to have the President burn it up in jet fuel to fly somewhere to give a campain speech or play a round of golf, of which I could care less about either one. That's just one budget cut I would love to see. Corporate Jets are already taxed by the jobs that are provided by building and maintaining them , to the person cleaning them to the air traffic controller tracking them in the air. Go ahead and tax them and send another industry overseas.
