The appointment of Parvez Ahmed to the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission

Please make note of the article about this appointment in today's Florida Times-Union. Please note that John Crescembini (a Democrat) is the one who recommended this appointment to the Mayor's office. Please note that the Mayor obviously went along with the nomination without having ever checked out this man. Please note that Richard Clark is standing behind the nomination. Also please note that Crescembini is maligning ACT Jacksonville for taking a stand against this nomination, a man with known terrorist ties, a man currently with two subpoenas to appear for a racketeering and fraud case. Please note that the Florida Times-Union's headline declares ACT Jacksonville as an "anti-Muslim" group. They are not "anti-Muslim" - they are anti-terrorist (which is what I thought our entire country was as well).

Members of ACT Jacksonville will be holding a press conference today outside City Hall regarding this nomination. They will also be attending tonight's City Council meeting to address these concerns. But don't expect much to come of it. It's not "politically correct" to keep people with known terrorist ties out of government these days - any level of government. Our "War on Terror" is a joke.

If we are all in accordance that we do not want in Jacksonville what is happening in Europe, we need to use the power of the Tea Party to stop this appointment. We still have a chance final vote will occur next week. Let us e-mail and call our Mayor and the Councilmen in large numbers. Let us prove that we have a voice in Jacksonville or forever do nothing.

I might add this. If you watched the video I posted a few minutes ago, then, you will understand how important the following information is in relation to it.

BAD NEWS FROM FRANCE - REALLY BAD

I received this email tonight and was asked to forward it.

Once again, the real news in France is conveniently not being reported as it should.. To give you an idea of what's going on in that country where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about 600,000 Jews, here is an E-mail that came from a Jew living in France .

Please read!
"Will the world say nothing - again - as it did in Hitler's time?"
He writes: "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing. Nowhere have the flames of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France . In Lyon , a car was rammed into a synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier , the Jewish religious center was firebombed; so were synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles ; so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently. A Jewish sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris , the words 'Dirty Jew' were painted. In Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and metal bars. The bus that takes Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers has been attacked three times in the last 14 months.

According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen 10 to 12 anti-Jewish incidents PER DAY in the past 30 days. Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have been defaced with slogans proclaiming 'Jews to the gas chambers' and 'Death to the Jews.' A gunman opened fire on a kosher butcher's shop (and,
of course, the butcher) in Toulouse . A Jewish couple in their 20's were beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne (the woman was pregnant). A Jewish school was broken into and vandalized in Sarcelles . This was just in the past week."

"So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity, to do - at least - these three simple things:

First, care enough to stay informed. Don't ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: 'First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.'

Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are more toxically anti-Semitic and, unlike them, France exports more than just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott their clothes and their foodstuffs. Boycott their movies.
Definitely boycott their shores. If we are resolved we can exert amazing pressure and, whatever else we may know about the French, we most certainly know that they are like a cobweb in a hurricane in the face of well-directed pressure.

Third, send this along to your family, your friends, and your
co-workers. Think of all of the people of good conscience that you know and let them know that you - and the people that you care - about need their help.

The number one bestselling book in France is....'September 11: The Frightening Fraud' which argues that no plane ever hit the Pentagon!

Please Pass This On, Let's not let history repeat itself, thank-you for your time and consideration." Please understand we are already beginning to see some very violent things in this country and the left is trying to paint the right for it. No good guys.

I would also say to Valarie, that the folks from CAIR also decided they had to mainstream to make themselves look like regular people and then, once they got into positiions of authority, they could do what they wanted to. Sound like anyone else you know ...... gee do we have a president who did much the same thing and is currently destroying our country?????

Absolutely, Debbie. We were asleep for far too long but we are now awake to what is going on at EVERY level of government and the "status quo" is no longer acceptable. Here's some info I found on CAIR, the organization that Parvez Ahmed is a past president of.

"What many people don’t realize is that CAIR operates and presents itself as a public interest law firm, much like the ACLU. As a PILF, it must comply with the codes of professional responsibility applicable to lawyers in the jurisdictions in which it operates and keep sacred the fiduciary duty it owes its clients. As the complaint (filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia) sets out in careful detail, CAIR trampled on its clients and disregarded its professional obligations with a callous and calculating malice.

The complaint identifies CAIR as a racketeering enterprise under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), which is a criminal racketeering statute that allows victims to sue the defendants in civil court. In addition to damages, my clients are seeking injunctive relief under this and other statutes to shut down CAIR and to prevent the individual defendants from engaging in public interest legal work in the future."

I called my rep, Webb, and the council president, Clark, to state just that. I believe the complacency on behalf of citizens has perpetuated a sense of power among our elected officials. Times are changing and we are now paying attention.

We have had a large, thriving Arab population in Jacksonville since the 1950's. They came here, took advantage of opportunities and have done well for themselves. They are a welcome integral part of our community, running businesses, serving in government, teaching in schools, etc. There are many members of the Arab community who could be tapped for an appointment like this, ones without this shadow of questionable associations and actions hanging over their heads. Why doesn't Crescembini tap one of those for this appointment? The radical element of Islam is using our sense of "political correctness" against us. They are using our own freedoms and Constitution against us. They told us they would infiltrate our government at every level. And they are doing it. Sadly, they told us their game plan and instead of guarding ourselves against it, we have facilitated it. Please pay attention to the members of the Council who vote to confirm this appointment. Then determine to vote them out. I hope everyone will contact their own City Council member about this appointment before the time of the City Council meeting tonight.

I can't believe this, as U.S. citizens we are asked to mute our christian values at the same time asked to juxtapose an ideology that is exclusive of all but their own precepts. Speak Boldly and with the truth.

Pavez Amhed is a board member of ONEJAX, an organization promoting interfaith tolerance. A partner organization of ONEJAX is JASMYN, Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network. A statement from their homepage, "Make a Difference - Get involved, be active in leadership roles at JASMYN. Learn to be a leader in the community. Be an activist and organizer for positive social change."

Randall Royer was convicted to 20 years for terrorism. Parez Ahmed stated in an interview when the reports of Royer came out that, "People who make statements connecting CAIR to terrorism should understand the legal consequences of their attempted slander and defamation. The First Amendment does not protect defamation."

I just don't understand the choice of our officials to not question past associations, opinions, and actions of any individual that will be in position to make city, state, or national decisions. That is why we now have Obama, no one openly questioned his affiliations and beliefs.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
