I have several properties in Duval county. I mailed the census in on time and reported 2 of them vacant. I have been called and visited a number of times by census takers to be "sure" that the info was correct. I don't recall my answers to any other census being questioned. Is this redundancy a ploy to keep those temps employed longer? Does some entity suspect that I would enter false info? Are they disappointed in the high numbers of unoccupied homes? I thought the census was a snapshot of the population at a particular time. Has anyone else had this experience? The census takers make $15 per hour and 50 cents per mile. Can this be investigated to stop wasting our money?.
