The inaugural South Florida Interfaith Summit for Israel took place on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie Sunday night. This non-partisan event was a celebration and a rally of sorts in support of the sovereign state of Israel in advance of a controversial United Nations vote on a resolution to recognize a Palestinian state. South Florida Congressional representatives Mario Diaz-Balart, Ted Deutch and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz each addressed those gathered about the unique relationship that exists between the United States and Israel.Wasserman-Schultz was one of the keynote speakers at the event, and while there is no agreement to be found between conservatives and her positions on any issue, we both agree that the defense of Israel is of paramount concern and that Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
During Congresswoman’s prepared remarks on Israel, one of the attendees of the event began to heckle her by yelling out ‘terrorist’ and ‘traitor’ and was escorted out by the local police. The heckler was probably angered about President Obama’s statement earlier this year urged Israel to pull back its borders to the indefensible 1967 borders as a precondition for future negotiations.

They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
