Immigration didn't kill him, research indicates Hispanic democrats vote that way for the reasons the others do...government goodies. I do agree that the Republicans have lost their minds on gays, abortion and the drug war. I was a Libertarian for a number of years because both repubs and dem want your money. Dems to give handouts and Repubs to build jails to put everyone in. it is time for the Tea Party to for a third party. It will not work any other way. Republicans gave this away and there is already talk that they must compromise on the ONLY principle that counts...Constitutional Government.

Let's face it. There were five people who ran for the Republican nomination who were quite attuned to the tea party, Bachmann, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry and Cain. None of them got close to being a viable candidate and no sane person believes that they would have outperformed Romney in the general election. The problem is that Romney, who is a moderate, had to say he was a severe conservative in order to win the Republican primary. He had to take stances that were to the right on every issue.
Immigration killed him. If had gotten McCain'spercentage of hispanic voters he might have won.
Tea party principles regarding fiscal sanity can be sold, wholesale to the American public. But the other crazy stuff on immigration, gay marriage, assinine abortion laws, climate change, it is time to move forward on that stuff. That cost Romney the election. The notion that we can never have another penny in taxes is stupid. It defies the math needed to solve the deficit problem.
Obama ran by saying he wanted to raise taxes. No one has done that in a while and won. Think about it. It wasn't secret.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
