I thank Dr. Youngblood for his response to John Delaney's comments and attempt to shame people about their religious beliefs and force them to think like he does (a progressive liberal). If you have a minute, please comment on the article.

Opinion column: Biblical references misused by John Delaney
John Delaney, our former mayor in chief, is now parading himself as a "theologian."
It is sad, appalling and very egregious to have the former mayor demean our citizens.
For the edification of our biblically literate population, let's set the theological record straight.
Theologian-in-chief Delaney purposely misquoted several wonderful biblical passages. Jesus' counsel to love God and our neighbor as ourselves has nothing to do with the merits and facts of bill No. 296. Because we love someone does not mitigate against the biblical admonition to hate "their sin."
The preamble to 296 is a Trojan Horse — supposedly to attract a talented work force — yet 99.9 percent of the bill is a "special class" ordinance.
This bill recites "sexual orientation" 39 times, which is explicitly defined as meaning "perceived" heterosexual, homosexual or transsexual. Special recognition is given to certain sexual deviants as a "special class" not found in our Constitution.
Good Samaritan does not apply Delaney then gives the parable of the Good Samaritan as his "theological proof." It's only an attempt to "shame" every moral, ethical opponent. Delaney is simply unschooled in this marvelous biblical parable. The Lord Jesus gave this parable to a "lawyer's" question, "Who is my neighbor?"
Being a neighbor has nothing to do with moral, ethical citizens being forced to contravene their conscience via a law requiring one to "embrace the sin of sodomy." Until recent years, these people "knew" it is sin, thus stayed in their "sin closets."

Delaney should be ashamed of himself. He was a joke, is a joke, and forever will be a joke.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
