The Duval County School Board’s monthly meeting is at 6 p.m. today in the auditorium of the School Administration Building at 1701 Prudential Drive. The meeting is open to the public and will be televised live on Comcast Cable Channel 29 and WJCT Digital Channel 7.4. WJCT TV-7 will air a tape-delayed broadcast at midnight. Among the items to be considered:
Item: Public hearings and votes to relocate school programs, consolidate boundaries and close a facility
What it means: James Weldon Johnson’s Gifted and Academically Talented program and its staff would be moved to Paxon Middle School, and the James Weldon Johnson building would be closed. The boundaries for Paxon Middle and Eugene Butler Middle schools would be consolidated. Paxon’s International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and staff would be moved to Eugene Butler. Paxon’s Day Treatment Program would move to a new facility at Eugene Butler. The changes would take place in time for the 2011-12 school year.
Item: Public hearing and boundaries set for middle school portion of Westview K-8
What it means: Westview K-8 opened August 2009 with grades kindergarten through sixth, and plans to add seventh and eighth grade. But the boundaries had only been set for kindergarten through fifth-grade students. This would set the same boundaries for the sixth through eighth grades.
Item: Approval of $85,000 claim
What it means: Would approve paying $85,000 to Kathy Williams, on behalf of the minor Teddy Williams, for a liability claim. The district wouldn’t release information about the settlement, citing public record exemptions. Teddy Williams died Sept. 17, 2008, while in the district’s “care and custody” at Mount Herman Exceptional Student Center, according to a letter from Kathy Williams’ attorney to the district in August notifying it of intent to sue for medical malpractice. The attorney’s letter alleged Teddy Williams’ death was the result of a school nurse’s negligence.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
