Apart from the fact that only 87 of over 11 thousand scientific studies in the last 20 years do anything but agree that man-made climate change is real, the observable changes are indisputable. Firstly, the CO2 levels are still in direct relation to warming trends. The 12 warmest years on record have all been recorded in the last 20 years, this despite the fact we are in a solar minimum cycle. There has not been a single month in the last 29 years in which the earth has experienced a cooler than average month. The oceans have experienced a 30% increase in acidity which is attributable to it absorbing more CO2.
On a smaller scale, the permafrost has moved north every year. Tropical species are moving nothward as are temperate species. 36 cubic miles of Antartic ice pack has been lost in 10 years. Glaciers are retreating at the most rapid rate ever observed. The Arctic Ocean is ice free as never before. These aren't anecdotes, they are facts. Consevatives should be the leaders in protecting the enviroment. It is about protecting our future. The world will go on after this generation is long gone. Will they look back at us and curse our acts as being willful ignorance. They probably will refer to us as the "Greediest Generation" for giving them our debt and piggish use of resources.
