Folks are not liking the park closing 2 hours earlier than it used to (due to budget constraints largely).

Beach access advocates plan on complaining en masse today at a Jacksonville City Council committee about limited hours at two ocean side parks.
The council’s Recreation and Community Development Committee meets at 2 p.m. at the council chambers at City Hall 117 W. Duval St. and a slew of residents plan on lodging objections to recent limits to Hanna and Huguenot parks, the two seaside parks operated by the city.
Every year, Hanna Park off Mayport Road and Huguenot Memorial Park off Heckscher Drive change their closing times from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. after the switch from Eastern Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time in order to take advantage of additional daylight. That didn’t happen this year and already many residents who frequent the oceanfront facilities are angry.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
