The OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe), a U.N. organization, is sending 44 observers to the United States to monitor the general election.
Don't look for a U.N. observer at your local polling place. Eric Des Pallieres of France and Dragan Zelic of Croatia will be in Tallahassee.
OSCE responded to complaints by the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, who warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”
Meanwhile, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott warned OSCE that "The (Texas) Election Code does not authorize OSCE representatives to enter polling places. If the OSCE does not want to follow Texas law, then perhaps it should send its representatives to another state." He added, "I'm particularly offended that the European organization seems to be working with American groups tied to ACORN -- a community coalition accused of voter fraud."
This is exactly the kind of thing that poll watchers look for during early voting and on election day. Florida election law states that the only observers allowed inside the polling place are poll watchers approved by the supervisor of elections or election observers appointed by the Florida Department of State. International election observers are not allowed inside the polling place and would have to remain at least 100 feet away from the entrance to the polling place.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
