Night before last, I was talking to a family member that lives in NH who said a woman endured a total cavity search at the hands of TSA agents at the Manchester Airport (NH) a few days ago, and the legislature up there is up in arms over the whole TSA mess due to a public uproar over the new procedures.  Manchester does not have body scanners, at this time, but the search done on the woman was without "probable cause" (in other words there was no reason what so ever to think she was carrying anything on her nor was she believed to be a terrorist.  If they pass the legislation, it will get the TSA agent arrested if they touch breasts or genitals or view them through the machine, and when convicted, they would have to register as sexual affenders.

"The bill (HB628-FN) "makes the touching or viewing with a technological device of a person’s breasts or genitals by a government security agent without probable cause a sexual assault"
