JL, signed up already with Herman Cain and have gotten things for a few days about his announcement today.  I am delighted totally.  I don't agree with everything he says, but I agree with most of it, and has Herman says, you ain't gonna get perfect, but if you can get someone who agrees with 7 out of 10 of your most important things, you are doing real fine!  He does, and I am.

 

I think the government helping us out with our retirement money is about the biggest joke ever.  They are the same ones who robbed social security until it's broke, spend more money than they get in every year, think they can tell people what to do and when while they do something quite different, and they are going to make people's retirement safer for them by dictating what you can do with your own money................I seriously doubt it :)

 

The health care thing is a disaster but Obama keeps holding on thinking more people will like it and then, the republicans won't be able to get rid of it.  I hoped above hope the Supreme Court would look at the Virginia case and decide it, but no such luck, so there will be more time before we can get rid of this nightmare thing.  In the mean time, we will get less health care, substandard health care, no health care in some cases, and we will all pay more, so Obama can continue his social engineering project!

Patricia, they have actually been talking about this for months that we were going to have critical shortages because of all the lawsuits, slow down in production, etc.. Who is going to pick and choose? The President's appointed, un-vetted panel, of course!

 

We were told our coverage will not change, my has drastically because the employer had to cut costs drastically so we have poorer coverage with the same insurance company BUT, there is NOW a middle man between us and the same insurance company. Standard and Poor i think or some very honorable reliable group came out with a study that points out Health Care costs are going up 8.5 % across the board this year because of the bill. Also In the UK, their waiting time for a doctor's appointment has increased from 18 weeks to 26 weeks and a lot of procedures are being denied because of costs... welcome to world of big government control that drives up the cost of living for those it governs. Two Congressional members are going to introduce a bill in Congress sot that the government can dictate to you how much, when and under WHAT circumstances you can pull money out of your IRA/Retirement accounts so that you are protected. How in the hell can a government who can NOT even control their own spending or can not balance the books and live on a budget get away will telling the American people how to manage theirs? This is clearly socialism/communism/ marxism period, big government taking over your property. Can not wait to hear the noise when the 3.8% real estate mandated fee kicks in 2014 for all sales to go to the Health Care bill. The American people are allowing their hard earn earnings to go to people who really don't give a damn. LOVE HERMAN CAIN'S announcement to run, did anyone notice that for over 25 minutes, he did NOT use a tele-promptor, notes, etc., just spoke from the heart? He actually looked the reporter in the eye when he was speaking to him? Did you notice he did not talk down to the reporter, avoid any questions or seem arrogant? It is great to see someone so refreshing, someone who actually LOVes our country and it's peoples.
