Ah...yes. THE honorable Chuck "wheres my corn flakes" Schumer (aka "Ckuckyou" schumer). I'm sure he meant the judicial,executive,& legislative BUT thats ok!!! we all know what he meant. Jezzzz He's got to go. Thanks for the heads-up. Mike

Very good Theresa, i am so use to words being twisted and manipulated that i got  caught up in it... *G*

Ditto on that Frank, the whole thing about our government in the way it was formed was so NO ONE welded too, much power and now the longer you are in Congress, the more power you have. What Pelosi has done for the last four years is unconscionable. Yet, no one called her down for what her and Reid did over the Christmas holiday, 2009 and her around Easter in 2010 with the Health Care bill they sequestered (actually held them hostage, in my opinion keeping them from their families and constituents.) Congressional members and held them in session until they got the vote they wanted breaking many ethic rules, abuse of power rules and also buying votes. Then Pelosi had enough nerve to compare herself to the great Martin Luther King Jr. carrying the gavel up the Capital stairs. 

 

They went totally against the Constitution in all that they do and there were no checks and balances. Why can't someone call them down for violating their oath of office? 

 

Bob, that is so true they want to fast track everything so it becomes law before anyone knows what hit them. The famous statement from Pelosi, you have to pass the bill to see what is in it... that is a dangerous statement and when did bills become over 100 pages long? That is dangerous also. Senator Nelson kept replying back to me when i questioned the size of the bills and the content, that he could read the law better than i could understand it, and while this bill is not perfect, we must past it.

 

In the Constitution, i am almost sure it states that it is SUPPOSE to be a tedious, slow process to past legislation to create a perfect bill that has been openly, and been through a healthy debate process.

Liberals don't care about the tule of law and the Constitution, they believe that the end justifies the means, anything goes. They resent the Constitution because it keeps them in check, or is supposed to.

and Executive is President

Peggy nailed it, three powers in our government are the Executive branch, the Judicial branch and the Congressional branch. 

Theresa we need to remind people of those horrific Carter years, funny that he is probably so elated because President Obama has certainly surpassed him as being the worst President in U.S. history i just hope we can make it through 2012 and get a really great candidate. Heard yesterday that Jon Huntsman Jr. has resigned his ambassadorship to China in April 2011 and will return to the states in May 2011. If he is anything like his father, he would be a very honorable, truthful, fiscal conservative and very experienced candidate for President. I still believe in miracles but people need to remember the history and the truth of it all. ALL of us here need to remind people, just this weekend i answered to someone dissing Michele Bachmann stating that she is a idiot, and i just posted the facts, they went away and quit the name calling and people rose up and actually started posting the truth of things. We were discussing Congressman Moran's comment to Alhurra, a Arab News media, stating that most American's do not want to be governed by a African -American that is liberal, I guess Americans can not disagree with his agenda and ideologue without being a bigot. If President Obama was of hispanic heritage or Oriental, i would still disagree with him and vote him out of office. Moran earlier made another Progressive Liberal comment back in Sept 2010 towards Patrick Murray who was running against him, Murray has a 24 year career of being U.S. Army Colonel who fought on several fronts and was stationed around the world, he stated that Murray had no real experience to be a Congressman.
