Is that really Chuck Schumer talking on the video?... did I hear him correctly that the 3 branches of the government are "Congress", "Senate" and the "President"?. duh!..My granddaughter knows the 3 branches of the government by heart.  Well, well,  our elected president said we have 57 States as well so. adios

I was a cashier at Winn Dixie and Publix and the only time I saw "granny eating dog/cat food" was when the dumborcraps were in the WH.  It was really bad when Carter was in office. :(  Why can't people remember this...it's always the dumbos who screw the "little people" as they get richer and richer and they are always looking for ways to spend Social Security too!  :(

I wish Ca. would legalize it, after reading about this yahooooo. $50 an ounce would get us outta debt and we need to regulate who gets Medical cards. Ya need more than a headache to get a card. Make it a legit business for those in true need, keep Goverment out, pay taxes... and please realize a schmuck with fat pockets when they spit at ya.......   whose greedy...?

Schumer is one of the most partisan Democrats on the Hill, but his remarks give us a hint of the the Democrats plan to demagogue the budget fight. "The hard hearted Republicans will throw granny out of her hospital bed...They will keep GI Joe from getting ammunition, and they'll starve stay at home social security recipients."

Isn't it ironic that when a Democrat makes an error, it's called a 'slip of the tongue'! How many 'slips of the tongue' has Joe Biden made? Or better stated this way--'slip of the tongues'!

Interesting that he was part of the 111th Congress that did not create a budget, now they have left one heck of a mess to clean up and they are going blame the Republicans, they have set it all up for failure. 

 

Hopefully in the next election cycle, it will be the Progressive Liberals that loose a lot more seats not the moderate Democrats who should of know better than not to listen to their constituents and listen to the leadership in Congress who held them hostage over the Christmas and Easter holidays, remember that? And they both were voted back in.

This guy wouldn't speak the truth if his very life depended on it.

Refusing to raise the debt ceiling would not shut anything down or make it so we couldn't pay our debts (as the equally moronic host said). It would force the government to spend only what it has with our current amount of debt, as in "You can't borrow another penny - FOR ANYTHING!"

As for the rest of his mis-truths and mis-statements, how can he get away with the big lies without all those little ones thrown in?
