Our next order of business is to vote out ALL of those in Washington, DC, regardless of party, put in those who will best serve ALL of the people in the US who are here LEGALLY. EVERYONE who has a dog in this fight MUST get out and vote for the change America desperately needs in November. The time for apathy is over for those that want to return to the founding principles that has made this Country so great and the envy of most all of the world.
Yes, we are obligated by our Constitution to step in and stop all of the corruption. That is why we are having hearings on the "distinguished gentleman from Harlem, NYC, and the distinguished representative from California. There are a lot more that need to be investigated and thrown out, either by there own peers or those who live in their districts and can vote them out in November.

Without changing those who represent us in Washington, DC with people that care about this Country and it's people, I do not think we will get this done before there is a WHOLE LOT OF DAMAGE to the American people---ALL people not just the poor but all of us!!!!

I think Dr. Sowell is BRILLIANT. Follow his columns in the editorial section of the newspaper. He is right on.

thank you for your follow up, so then i ask you what is our next order of business and is it going to be in time for changes to start? Nov. will be here quick enough then we can hear how the republicans own capital hill. If we the people feel that our goverment does not have out best interest at heart , are we not obligated to by the constitution to step in and stop all the coruption? I know as many amercans do we need change but we can't just keep saying it we need to get something more in motion, as I beleive the tea party is a good thing do you really feel that we will get this done before there is to much damage to the american people all people not just the poor but all of us?

I agree that the American people do not need Dr. Sowell to point out the obvious. But, it seems like the obvious, the incompetency of the current administration and Congress, is not shared by enough voting public to make a real change. Sometimes, the exclamation mark awakens some of the apathetic believers. Too many are brainwashed, but it is time to ask our brains to be working at full steam to realize what is here today and what is coming tomorrow. Time for the sleeping giant to come forward and challenge the status quo and ask for REAL CHANGE before it is too late.

I am sorry but I am not impressed with Dr. Sowell, I felt he has figured out a cheap way to sell his book. He did not offer ways to stop this just that it needs to be stopped which we all realize, that is why we look to things like the tea party. we know polititions are legal crooks that are self serving and could care less about we the people. It would not surprize me one bit to find out down the road that we did vote in a terrist as president and the rest of the world would be standing back laughing at us. i read how everyone keeps praising Sowell because he gets it!!! well DAH!!! so do how many millions of we the people get it???? do we need Sowell confirming what we all know and at what cost to the party??? I have noticed that in less than 20 years we the people have been so brain washed to the point that the goverment has turned us into such complacent quite cry babies and this is what we need to stop. Get our to open thier eyes and back off because they have made a big mistake here and they have awakened thier sleeping gaint.
