And, after re-reading this whole 4 page thread, I wish to thank Gus, Billy, Amy, and Beth for their comments, and being able to overlook the minor ripple this video seems to have caused for some people, and also understanding that striving towards our common goal is the most important thing right now!. For those who have some disagreements, lets work them out! So, what's next on the agenda?

Please don't feel singled out, Art....those rhetorical questions are for anybody and everybody reading these messages...gee, I didn't think I was "talking down" to anybody....just trying to ramp up some team spirit, get everybody on the same wavelength....I'll say this one time...I'm not here ATTACKING anybody. As we know, any organization has growing pains, and like I said, not everybody will see eye to eye. I hope everyone's views will be examined and considered, as long as we can work towards our common goals. Actually, I hadn't considered Art's original comment as anything to get worked up about, in fact, none of this is worthy of getting so worked up about, UNLESS it is striving together towards what I hope we are all here for! Please review what I wrote just prior to Art's last email. I'll talk with and work with anyone who has the T.E.A. Party's goals as our common agenda!

The movement is so much more than this, and we all know it! Do you suppose everyone agreed at the writing and the signing of the Constitution? Of course not, but they came together and did what they all knew the country needed. Let's not forget that, folks! That is our goal, has been our goal, and will be the end result!

Thank you FCTP for everything you do.  You can't please everyone, even every Tea Party Patriot.  Keep up the good work and don't let one little incident crush the spirit of the movement.  God Bless us all in 2012!

Sorry you feel that way, just trying to inject a bit of levity into this (In my opinion) blown out of proportion video. Now, look back over this whole couple of pages and tell me....WHAT is the main objective of this T.E.A. Party? Do you or do you not wish to get our Government back on an even keel? Do you or do you not wish for smaller, more responsible Government? Do you or do you not look for ways to lower an oppressive tax burden? Do you or do you not want more responsible leadership, willing to really tackle the crushing debt this country is now under, thanks to this current administration? (And that includes both Dems and Repubs)....are those not supposed to be our common goals? That quote was a play on words from a Bruce Willis film, and was NOT meant to be a personal attack ON YOU! For the most part, everybody having a problem with this silly, perhaps inappropriate video are in a "Can't see the forest for the trees" kind of place. Like I said, lets get on with the matter at hand, which should be our total focus, the upcoming election and the fact that there seems to be no real valid candidates to challenge Obama. By the way, Sir, if you can find a handful of people with the Sterling, Shining Ideals and Principals you are looking for, in any room full of people, you would find them at the T.E.A. Party Rallies, but remember, people will be people, and every coin has two sides. Again, sorry you took it as a personal attack on you or your principals.

Please, ART and PEGGY, accept our MOST HUMBLE APOLOGY for offending you, and lets get on with the matter at hand, the 2012 ELECTIONS!

Gus, you hit the nail right square on the head! If such a minor event such as this "silly" video can set people off like it seems to have, then maybe out of the many many thousands of T.E.A. Party people there are, with the common goals we have, then some aren't cut out for this movement. It's not like we are a bunch of OWS slugs, and I think for "99%" of us (lol), we are united! That said, Please, everyone, enjoy your New Year, and FOCUS and FIGHT for what we want thru out all of 2012!

  I thought it was a good idea for them to go to Iowa and report back, giving us first hand information  that we could trust, and I expected them to comport themselves in a way that wouldn't embarrass "us".  Their little joke was silly.  Now I'm not so interested to see any more video clips they may post.

I totally agree that this video may not agree with everyones sense of humor.  I agree that it may even be questionable content for FCTP.  I hold MYSELF to a very high moral and religous standards, and I considersider myself VERY Conservative, and by no means a "Republican".  But the Republican Party has turned off so many people because it is viewed as a bunch of Self Rightious people forcing their beliefs on everyone else.  In most cases, our cause is just.  In this case, it is silly.  When are we going to ignore these minor disagreements, and focus our energy on things that actually matter.  By Peggy's comments, you'd think she was ready to pack it up and give up the fight over a silly little video.  That is how Left Wing Radicals keep winning elections!  Are we the eliteist snobs the portray us to be?  I watched the video a few times myself and it may have been in poor taste, but offensive?  Come on!  We have a pretty yough fight coming in 2012, and you obviously are not ready, if this offends you.  We are just a group of like-minded INDIVIDUALS, not party-line clones.  There is no one wo whip us back into shape if one steps out of line.  That is where the Republican Party went wrong.  We need to be more organic and start thinking in modern ways to defeat what really needs defeating in 2012.
