He is not alone, and common sense has prevailed as Newtown is now taking the advise of the NRA and putting armed security in the schools they can afford to do so in.  I signed up for the Newtown local newspaper when the article about gun control appeared and did weigh in about this issue several times as did others.  There were well over 200 comments on the post before the editor of the paper closed comments.  A few days later, I went back to check the newspaper and found the article indicating they were putting armed guards in the schools and were working on other safeguards.
