Her comments were ignorant and it is obvious she was reacting emotionally. I believe in the right to free speech, but know what you are talking about. That being said, I think she should have been fired from her position, not asked to step down.

well lets face facts, DC and the Dem's are like a parent with a spoiled brat. When there child does something wrong, they look the other way or say "there just to young to know better", But heavens if another child does something they want to jump on him!! I for one will be happy to see this woman go!!

I have watched/listened to Helen Thomas for too many years - wondering, "Why is this crone still treated with "dignity" as a reporter?" She should have been put out to pasture long ago in my opinion.

Her parents were Lebanese and her views have been extremist for some time. She is like so many of the media with their twisted, unenlightened thinking.... yet they consider themselves the intellectuals.

She has made an apology but I hope she will read Israel's History 101 Basics:
That is there is no such thing as a Palastinian people group. All of those there are from other countries such as Jordan, Syria, Ammon, Egypt and various other Arab countries. See:

My questions are this, what is her ancestry? Why does she have such a hatred for Israel? What are her motives? Why is she so supportive of Palestine? Why doesn't she retire???????

I don't believe the removal of Thomas would do any good as all of the press functions are now totaly controled by Obama and Co. Were the White House to open up it's comunications with all journalists it would be different, but as it stands it is only the patsies that are hand picked in advance for their views that get access to Obama and Co. anyway, so the removal of Thomas wouldn't have any real affect in the long run. The only recourse we have open to us currently is at the ballot box and hopefully in the Fall we wiil begin to get some small change towards the positive and away from the toltarian veiws and actions of the current Congress and Obama and his Czarist cronies.

Evidently she has never read the Bible nor does she believe in an everlasting eternal God who makes covenants with His people that can not be broken, meaning they are unconditional and unilateral based on God's integrity not their obedience. The blessing and curse outlined in the Torah have come and are almost coming to an end. Israel is being reborn! Helen is a very educated New England Liberal that is stuck on an anti-Semitic bigotry that is founded on a godless Humanistic Philosophy. Our Country's national documents are based on our rights coming from our Creator, the God of Israel. The book of Deuteronomy in their Torah was quoted in making our American Laws and Constitution 72 times more than any other book. Jewish financeers came to the aid of George Washington to save our new Republic! As far as the Jewish people returning to their homeland given to them by Yahweh:

he who appoints the sun

who decrees the moon and stars

who stirs up the sea

Helen Thomas needs to retire and get re-educated and I pray for her soul to discover the mercy of God through the Messiah of Israel, our Lord and Savior Yeshua, JESUS the Christ!

People migrate - for the Jews to return to Poland, Germany, etc. is a ridiculous statement. Most of the refugees that went to Israel in 1948 (62 years ago) are too old or have died. Those living there now have mostly been born there. Helen needs to give up her post and finish her days somewhere where no one will pay any attention to her hateful ramblings.
