Terrorists will only stop flying, laugh at us fools getting groped at airports. They'll go for easier targets, I expect. Think profiling and dogs is much better sense, more effective and less offensive to law abiding citizens.Since I've had chest x-ray and mammogram this year, I would opt out of scanners because of accumalative radiation exposure effects.

SInce before the 16th Amendment, senators were (properly) appointed by the state legislature, is there anyway we can work on a Florida Constitutional amendment for recalls of senators??
We can't wait two years to get rid of the communist Nelson.

Jean, I also agree. I would like to see a solid conservative run (but who?). I surely do not want to see Bill Nelson who is rated an F for his voting record re-elected for another 6 years in 2012. He is awful.

I agree with you, Jean. LePew isn't that bad, but neither is he that good. We can do much better.
There is no middle ground here, if we are going to save this country.

LeMieux has voted along with Bill Nelson on more than this Food Bill. Sorry, but with so many true Conservatives out there that will fight for our Country, I'm not going to take a chance with "maybe" LeMieux when he's sided with Nelson on several votes. I campaigned my heart out for Marco Rubio and I want Rubio to have a solid, conservative compatriot in the House to work with.

I get LeMieux's weekly newsletter and follow him. Please don't throw him in the toilet until you look at what he has done, said and voted for or against. He is not Crist's guy; Crist only put him in as a place keeper cause he wanted the job, but LeMieux as done the job like a senator from Florida and was actually far less liberal than the person he replaced. He jumped in with both feet as Col. West has done and for a new senator, he has made some waves and spoken in front of the senate many times.

If this Country can't get rid of Pelosi and Reid in 2010, how can we get rid of Obama in 2012? He'll have so many government workers hired by then and unions under his thumb, how will he be stopped? Atleast let's get rid of Bill Nelson and Lemieux (should he run). Certainly we can do that.

I think it's pretty obvious LeMieux was Crist's "conservative ear" and sychophant, at the same time. I don't think he really knows what he is. That's the problem, he knew what to tell Crist to say to cater to conservatives, but doesn't understand conservatism or conservatives. He is a political operative, not a small government advocate. We need to be searching for and promoting Bill Nelson's replacement - NOW!
Does Marco have a brother???
