I don't think it's just a matter of "Going Back" to those days when we had values as much as it is us "Teaching our kids" what values are. If we don't teach our kids what values are, then we will end up being in the situation that we find ourselves heading to right now.

At age 67 I recall what is a good life. Mom did the cooking and dad worked. He came home and mom would look her best. She did this because she love this man. My Dad from a small town called Altamont NY and My Mom from Clayville God may only ask that we may go back to that day when we had values.

How much further damage to our nation can be done by Representatives and Senators between now and Jan. 1, 2011??? Repealing all legfislation in the past 2 years won't be enough. Hard decisions regarding cuts in expenses at Fed, State and Municipal levels is the order of the day, but must first determine where to cut gov't staffing. If all work 36 hours/week no perks or benefits and no UNION.Could employ more employees on rotation of 3/2 principle except for 24/7 services)emergency staff) Airtravel must be paid at coach level for employee travel, the diff. paid by the employee for any upgrades.This applies to Senators and Congressmen until budget is balanced.We are all p'od but what shall we do to effect positive change????

Estelle I heard about what Cantor said, and I don't believe that he was bought off. I think that the Republican leadership has polled every aspect of ObamaCare and found widespread acceptance of two parts.
1. Forcing ins. companies to keep children on parents policies until age 26
2. Forcing insurance companies to accept pre-existing conditions

Both are ABSURD ideas. It's just more politics as usual, and IT'S PI$$ING ME OFF!!!
If we want it stopped, we had better make some noise quickly.

We have to call, write, e-mail our NEW members of congress to knuckle down and stop playing the "usual [politics". I cannot believe that just recently some Republicans, Kantor being one, have said they would accept SOME of the healthcare stuff , when NONE should be accepted since WE, THE PEOPLE, wanted none of it. What happened to this man's resolve? Do not tell me that he was was promised something from the "other" side?

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If our representatives and senators do not get it right,and reduce wasteful spending, and pork, history will unfortunately play out and the picture won't be v in 2011 it won't be a very pretty picture for anyone in America.Let us all say a prayer for our senators and representatives that they will exert all efforts to save our nation by fiscal accountability.

My hat is of to you, Mr. Farage. We are fighting the same battle here on this continent. Not enough "real" men in Congress to stand against the tyranny that is being forced upon us.
