Could not agree more Rod.  I am horrified that some of these city council members who were just re-elected would touch these bills in such haste as Peyton will be gone, and they will be the ones who pay the price for them.  Some of the others that are leaving the council will also be kissed by these should they pass them and then, think they can run for another office without all of us screaming from the roof tops about the money wasted on one more of the Peyton boondoggles.

This will be a very important and busy meeting !

 

This is the last meeting for this four year term of the City Council Members, the Mayor  and his entire appointed staff.

This means there are many things being rapidly pushed through, some of which should not be done in such haste.

All of us have an opportunity and responsibility to effect what is done.

Yes, there are some things that may not go the way they should but even those can have the will and word of we the people stamped upon them.  More importantly if the people do not speak up the wrong that could have been prevented will be pushed upon all of us.
