Our March meeting will be on Monday, March 14.  We will meet at New Berlin Road Church 2351 New Berlin Road.  Meet, greet and eat will be 5:30 – 6:30 with the meeting starting at 6:30.  Dinner is provided to those who would like to participate at a cost of $12.00.

You might have seen in the last couple of weeks that two more states have joined the Convention of States, Nebraska and Wisconsin.  This brings the total of states to 17 which is halfway to the needed total of 34. 

How much do you know about this?  This effort is supported by a number of prominent personalities, but what is it and how does it work?  I reached out to a representative with the Convention of States as well as a representative of the John Birch Society to come and share the pros and cons as a means to educate our members so that we could gain knowledge and form our own opinions. 

We will have representation from the John Birch Society, but the representative from the Convention of States stated they do not engage in debate and gave me their website to pass on to our members for information.  I went to the website and also sent a request through the website but have heard nothing back.  Their website is conventionofstates.com.  I encourage you to visit this site for information and bring questions to our meeting. 

If there is anyone in our group who feels they could answer questions on behalf of the Convention of States, please let me know.  This is an informational meeting only and I would like to have both sides represented.  Knowledge is power.  We report, you decide.
