WOKV news report stated the ordinance called for removal at a much lower cost than the first proposal, and the dispensation of the statue would be determined at a "later date".
Carlucci's proposed ordinance is an attempt to sidestep
the Council's own decision to address the issue of
Jacksonville's history when they passed the Five Year
In that plan, Council established that the matter of the
Jacksonville's historical structures would be taken up in
the 2022-2023 Council Year.
Why is Carlucci attempting to move the goal posts, change the rules, silence public debate?
Simple . . . The Unity Project is a blockbuster,
It is so constructive and worthwhile that Carlucci and his
Northside/Take 'Em Down/Democrat partners cannot
permit Jacksonville to find out about the large, diverse,
and cohesive group of Jacksonville citizens make their
voice and intentions that are joining the Project.
Plan now to be at City Council on Tuesday, Mar. 22nd.
The meeting starts at 5pm but you will want to be
there between 4:30-4:45 to sign in.

Your opportunity to speak against this terrible proposal
will be during Public Comment AT THE START OF THE MEETING. Public Comments/Speaking rules page 32: RULE 3.603 COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC. You will be given a card to fill out when you sign in.

I thought Carlucci was a Republican. He asked us to do a fund raiser for him a few months ago when he was trying to run for Mayor. We did the fund raiser and he commented on the fact that he had raised over 1.5 million dollars. A few days after the fund raiser he "changed" his mind and dropped out. What about all the money he collected? Still waiting for an answer.

I've emailed 4 council members, ( Matt Carlucci, Randy White, Randy DeFoor, and Nick Howland) stating my opposition to spending any amount of money to remove statues!

Good grief, there are still people wanting to spend money to remove statues?! Hard to believe! I guess they're so woke they're oblivious to what the rest of of are concerned about.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
