Happy birthday Tea Party.  In the two years I have been a tea partier, I have seen us grow by 40%.  With 7200 members,  all the family and non-members we associate with daily, we represent more than 10% of the local vote and we're growing daily.

Like many older Jacksonville natives I was a Democrat as was the majority in order to have a voice in the primary process.  As a true conservative, I (1980's) became a Republican but have never been active until the Teaparty gave voice to my concerns.

 

While I may not actively support a particular candidate, I plan to throw my support to any candidate running against the Bill Nelson's and any other incumbant who is service his own interest instead of the peoples'.

Take a minute (actually almost 3) and listen to this song. For criticizing our rulers he lost his job as a middle school football coach. I hope he makes it up as a singer. I'll buy his album.

How does one initiate a recall petition? A primary reason we have so many incumbents re elected is that they have hugh financial advantage. I'm told Bill Nelson of Florida, not up for re-election this year, has literally millions already for his next election and it crossed my mind that if we helped him spend that fighting a recall while having a platform to expose his faults and voting record we could have a long term effect on the political process.
