We seem to have turned a corner on freedom and become a police state when no one was watching or maybe we were, and they rammed it down our throats anyway. When did all these departments in Washington get all this power they seem to have acquired since Obama took over? I don't recall anyone saying they could do all this stuff, do you?…

And the queston no one is asking is if we extend the tax rates for those who make under $250,000, how much will that cost? We already know that the tax rates extended for those over $250,000 will cost an estimated $700,000 (Obama says no…

It’s disturbing that we even need to have this conversation.
It’ll be more disturbing if the Obama Administration doesn’t intervene and stop the process.
The people behind the controversial “Park 51” Islamic mosque project in Lower Manhattan have apparently applied several times for federal grant money with the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. LMDC is officially a New York state agency, but the money that this agency doles-out for the…

Fed chairman Ben Bernanke concedes that, while necessary, a new large purchase of government bonds by the Fed to help cover the deficit will not completely solve our problem of slow growth. Many in the markets and around the world express the same sentiment in a more negative way—saying…

But they don't have time to secure the borders and stop illegals from coming into the country no matter how many terrorist attacks there are? They are after Americans since we are apparently the enemy of this government.
Following on the heels of this week’s domain seizure of a large hiphop file-sharing links forum, it’s clear today that the U.S. Government has been very busy. Without any need for COICA, ICE has just seized…

This is an article that appeared in the Times Union this morning, and I thought it was an interesting piece. What they are saying makes sense, and one only has to look at the person who tried to blow up a shopping area yesterday (not a blue eyed blond but someone named Mohammad and a naturalized American) to understand profiling is certainly something which must be considered. And given, TSA wants to impose the same rules for trains, buses and shopping centers, politically…

Want to know how the lame ducks in Congress plan to "cut" federal spending – which seemed to be a dominating theme of the 2010 elections? They're proposing a plan to take upwards of $44 billion a year from taxpayers and hand it over to illegal aliens who are in the United States so they can go to…

This article appeared in the St Peterburg Times back in September and is rated by the newspaper as "barely true". Nice that the newspaper actually rates!

There are several articles on this, and it looks like something we may wish to form an opinion on. Some of the things Scott has suggested make sense like making them grow their own food and privatizing medical care, but law enforcement officials don't seem to favor cuts (I think they are also trying to use scare tactics to stop cuts from happening).

The increasingly thuggish behavior by the Transportation Security Administration is part of a government plan to gain greater control over Americans by limiting their ability to travel freely.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
