CNBC: Obama Appoints Geithner, Lew to Seek Tax Deal With GOP

Apparently, Mr. Obama can't negotiate anything which is probably why folks are saying the START treaty is so bad. If he can't even talk to the republicans, what can the next 2 years be like and to send Geithner (the only thing he knows how to do is evade paying taxes I thought).

Times Union: Florida GOP pays Jacksonville mayor's chief of staff $42,500 for 45 days of work

As many others did, I also wrote to the mayor about this man being paid while on leave and was assured the city was not paying his salary while he was working for Scott and the republican party.
The mayor’s aide has been working for the state Republican Party and Rick Scott.
