25 Days until Nov 2: Paying it forward as an Angel Activist

Last week the First Coast Tea Party had its first Annual Fundraiser. (Notice I said first because we plan to be here a while and have one a year for many years to come!)

Ginni Thomas was our first Fundraising Speaker. She has been a supporter of the Tea Party Movement and has been an encourager of my own citizen activism since I met her in January of this year.

We work with her and her team at Liberty Central every day as we fight together to Restore the Republic and carry the candle of Liberty to future generations.

I have always been a believer in angels and believe they walk among us at times. During these times in our country, there are many citizen angels stepping out and protecting what our founding fathers fought to give us.

When Ginni came to Jacksonville last week, she came on her own dime. She spent time at the office with other local tea party members who were dropping in and picking up information for the City Council meeting. She even attended the City Council Pre-Meeting at Hemming Plaza wearing our Don't Raise Our Taxes t-shirt and she encouraged all she spoke with to continue fighting for freedom and against the burden of ongoing tax hikes.

She then sped over to the fundraiser and asked everyone there to give money to the FCTP so we can operate at a higher level. She challenged those who were able to give $500 or more to do so and she said she would be sending her check to FCTP as promised seed money. We received her promised check from Ginni yesterday.

How do you thank someone like that and what can we do to repay her investment into our local tea party?

As I wrote this, I was reminded of the movie "Pay it Forward." It's a great movie and if you have never seen it, watch it with your family and friends and have a box of tissues available. The story is about a young boy who is encouraged to do 3 nice things for people and ask them to pay it forward. At the end of the movie, the young boy dies tragically and his 3 nice things turns out to have changed a community. Check out the ending scene below.

TODAY'S CITIZEN ACTIVITATION IDEAS: 3 things

1. Share your tea party involvement with one person. Encourage them to get involved by going to our site: www.fctpcommunity.org.

2. Find someone you know who served in the military and give them a call or send them an email. Thank them for protecting Liberty for you.

3. Become a member of LibertyCentral.org, Ginni's new organization. The cost is $25 which is appropriate today - 25 days away from November 2. You can register to become at member at www.libertycentral.org.

Let's pay her generosity back ten fold!!

REMINDER:

When you are on the Liberty Central site, go to the Get Active section and sign the Petition asking Congress to keep the Bush Tax Cuts in place. We cannot afford any more tax hikes - at the federal level and locally!!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
