We are 30 days away from Taking our Country Back! Woo Hoo! We can see November from our house!
There is an old saying that it generally takes 30 days of constant activity to create a new habit, just as it takes 30 days of non-activity to break that same pattern.
Today let's begin as a group to spend the next 30 days spending 3-5 minutes a day activating our citizenship. We can do that in various ways and we will send you an email a day to help you get it done.
Why is it important to activate your citizenship? Well just remember what happened in March when the healthcare bill passed and this week when the city council raised our property taxes. Neither Congress or our local leaders listened to us. The reason: We had not been actively engaged in our citizenship for a LONG TIME. Our non-activity led to them not listening so...............................
We are awake and we now must do something daily to keep them accountable to our concerns.
Let's start today with an important activity by signing a Petition.
When Congress decided to leave town this week without ensuring the Bush tax cuts would not expire, the First Coast Tea Party team and Liberty Central Team collaborated and said they should not be allowed to get away with this behavior. We created a special campaign to shine a light on it.
With this campaign, we are hoping to push back on the Obama tax increases by circulating a petition via a digital ad campaign that will appear on RushLimbaugh.com, the Limbaugh Letter Online and MarkLevin.com for two weeks. We are gunning for 100,000 signatures, at which point we will film the hand-delivery of the petition to Congress and broadcast it on LibertyCentral.org.
Ginni Thomas can be seen in a video explaining what will happen when the tax cuts expire. She created paycheck stubs to show the reality of this insensitive Congress and their lack of respect to the American people. Check out the video at http://bit.ly/dgSQfw

Have sent this out to my mailing list as the action item today along with the wording from the blog, so they know they will be getting something every day until election. Challenge everyone else as well to send this too as many people as you have on your mailing list :). I also listed it on my facebook page as a to do item for the day (the link to the petition at Liberty Central). Hope we can get these things out there to as many as possible! In all fairness, many republicans spoke out about getting this done before everyone left town and Nancy P said not votes on taxes prior to leaving. The democrats want to raise taxes and with everything else they are getting hit with, they didn't want a tax increase added to the list or used against them as ammunition. And some of the worst republicans were removed during the primaries (except McCain and a couple of others who miraculously saw the light and have become conservatives until the election is over at least.............understand McCain has a conversion before pretty much every election).

Stay on them. Some of them are so ticked at Obama and they will come back with losing their jobs. They will want to look like a good guy at the end so let's put pressure on them to get er done.

Billie : I'm a little confused. What good is the petition now? Congress has already left, until after the Nov. election and when they return they will do whatever they darn well please since (I'm praying) most of them will not be returning. Nothing we give this Congress will do any good . They aren't listening. Unfortunately it's not only the Democrats but also the Republicans. We have to clean house and remove all those Republicans that are acting like children whose toys have been taken away.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
