THE LARGEST LAND GRAB IN AMERICAN HISTORY

The Florida Water and Land Legacy has aquired 700,000 signatures to place Amendment 1 on the 2014 Ballot. They Lied to Floridian's to obtained these signatures, and are still Lying to get this Amendment passed. Floridian's are being told this will not raise your taxes, which is a flat out Lie ! When land is taken off the tax roll ( as Conservation land is ) they do not pay taxes. This is lost revenue in your county, for Hospitals, Schools, Police, and you the taxpayer will ha ve to make it up, which means your taxes will go up. They receive money from the Doc Stamp program (your taxes), and Goveror Scott is giving them Billions of Dollars from the BP Oil Spill Settelment. The Florida Water and Land Legacy says it is to protect our waters, drinking water, and to save the animals. THIS IS NOT THEIR INTENT !This stealing of millions acres of land, for Greenways and Trails (which owns 25.62 millions of acres of land now), Blueways, to control all navigable waterways, rivers and streams. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission owns over 6 million acres of land, along with all five (5) Water Management Districts in Florida.

This will be a Constituional Amendment to the Florida Statutes.

Giving Florida Forever $19 Billion of your tax dollar, to buy more land (through land acquisition and permanent easements) land most of which now humans are not allowed on. Florida Forever is the Largest Land Acquisition organization in the Country. Florida Forever owns 30%, that's 1/3 of the state of Florida NOW.

THIS IS A HUGE LAND GRAB. They work with many organizations that are directly or indirectly connected to the UNITED NATIONS. Such as 1000 Friends of Florida ( which says this: Imagine " livable Communities " (human settlements) where kids can ride their bikes to school, and parents can walk to the store or take a bus to work ), The Nature Conservancy ( direct ties to the United Nations and the richest), The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Fish and Wildlife Fondation, The Sierra Club, The Green Party, The Florida Association of Counties, The National Association of Counties, The Florida League of Cities, The Florida City/County Management Association ( both with Chapters of orgainzations tied to the United Nations ), The Land and Trust, The Department of Environmental Protection ( DEP), The Green ways and Trails System, Governor Rick Scott's Acquisition and Restoration Council, Florida Forever, and more.

Florida Senators and Reps. are saying: This is way to much land for any government to control. Senator Gaetz, Will Weahterford, Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.

Over Fifty percent (50%) of Florida is under Conservation and Land Management, Florida Leads the Nations in Land Acquisition, Green ways, Blue ways, and Conservation.

We are losing our Property Rights and Liberty in our State.

Some helpful talking points when you are addressing this issue:

 * Amendment: "Water and Land Conservation” =  Water and Land Control

 * Dedicates funds to acquire and restore Florida conservation and recreation lands.

 * When completed approximately $19Billion will go to the Trust Fund aka Florida Forever.  The Bill does not explain the effect of this BILL.  We all want to save conservation land but:

  * Florida Forever wants your land. Enough is enough. They already used $3Billion tax dollars.

  * Florida Forever already owns 33% of the state.

  * Florida Forever restricts human use on public land. 

   *  Public land is yours; YOU pay; but can not use.

    * Florida Forever does not pay taxes, you will pay taxes extra to make up their loss.

    * Florida Forever takes private land off the tax rolls forcing your taxes to go up to cover lost revenue. 

Florida Forever will CONTROL:

• Your private property
• wetlands and forests;
•  fish and wildlife habitat;
• water resources, drinking water sources including Everglades, rivers, lakes, and streams;
• beaches and shores; outdoor recreational lands;
• working farms and ranches;
• historic or geologic sites,

FF wants 33% of net revenues from doc stamps for the next 20 years Doc stamps is your tax dollars reserved for some programs for the poor and elderly.

Voting NO for this amendment:

• No to Higher Taxes
• No to Restricted land use
• No to Loss of private property
• No to Loss of revenue for the poor and elderly.
