There are a few good men who are standing up to the bought and paid for politicians in DC let them know that we are with them by having our voices heard. The party needs to stand together.
Talking Points
Now is the chance for your Senator to fix their mistake. Voting for Obamacare in 2010 was bad, but voting to continue funding it now compounds the bad choice. We are urging the Senate to do something simple: defund Obamacare. Senate procedure can get complicated fast, but our goal is simple: stop Harry Reid from gutting the essential defunding language secured by the House. So long as Reid is committed to his procedural trick, Senators should oppose cloture: ending debate would mean that Harry Reid only needs 51 votes to strip the defund language from the House-passed bill.
• Voting for Obamacare was bad, but continuing to fund it after we know what it does is worse.
• Harry Reid is going to play procedural games on the House-passed defunding bill. Please oppose cloture if he does.
• Invoking cloture would lock in a process that allows Harry Reid to strip defunding Obamacare from the bill, thus funding Obamacare.
• The American people made their voices heard in August, and they are demanding that Congress defund Obamacare.
• How does the Senator plan to vote on the upcoming cloture vote?

There is really nothing more important at this moment. Ted Cruz has stood up for all of us. Let's give him all the support that we can muster. He is fighting the good fight with few by his side. Even "other" Republicans have turned their back.

There were a lot of people who worked against us in this fight, but nobody worked harder to fund Obamacare in the Senate than Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Republican Leader.
Mitch McConnell pressured several Republicans to withdraw their names from the letter pledging to oppose Obamacare funding, he falsely accused conservatives of supporting a government shutdown, and he actively encouraged Republicans to support cloture this week so the Democrats could fund Obamacare.
If Mitch McConnell had not opposed this effort, there is no question that we would have won the vote today. He showed that he has clout in Washington. Unfortunately, he used it to hurt millions of American families.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening!
