It just never ends, does it. Bills get killed, and then, they are resurrected again and again.

Deceptive Domestic Partnership Bill to be Heard and Voted on in Florida Senate Committee Monday, April 1, 2013 at 3:15pm
Please call and e-mail the two swing vote senators below and ask them to VOTE NO to SB-196
Apparently emboldened by all the "gay rights" talk in the national news with the US Supreme Court oral argument, this bill will come up again for a vote Monday, April 1st (No April Fool's joke) 2013, in the Senate Children, Families and Elder Affairs Committee and we need you to call two key swing vote senators on the committee today (one more time) asking them to VOTE NO to SB 196.
Deceptively named by its Democrat sponsor Senator Eleanor Sobel the “Families First” Domestic Partnership bill, this proposed law is intended to lead to same sex marriages as has been the case in
every single state that now has civil unions or has legalized same-sex marriages. See the chart documenting this fact
HERE: If you have any doubt why domestic partnerships are bad please check out this chart above and read John Stemberger's
Open Letter to the Senate Committee on Domestic Partnerships HERE:
This bill is labeled as a Domestic Partnership but the bill is just designed to lead to a full-blown civil union and same-sex marriage measure as evidenced by the previous version of the bill which was a de facto civil union and homosexual marriage bill which would have violated Article One, Section 27, the Marriage Protection Amendment passed by 62% of Floridians in 2008.
We need your help to make sure this BAD BILL will DIE in this committee. Right now, please send emails and make TWO swing vote phone calls to members of the committee on SB-196 the Domestic Partnership / Gay Marriage bill.
Call the two swing votes:
and
and say: "Hi, my name is _____ and I am calling to urge Senator _____ to vote AGAINST SB-196 in the Children & Families Committee on Monday April 1, 2013. Please VOTE NO on SB 196."
CALL THESE SWING VOTE SENATORS TODAY: Sen. “Charlie” Dean, Sr. (R) (Inverness) (850) 487-5005 DISTRICT: (352) 860-5175
Dean.charles.web@flsenate.gov
All the Democrats are expected to vote in favor of the bill and only one Republican is likely to vote for it, Nancy Detert. Republican Senators Alan Hayes, Denise Grimsley and Thad Altman are expected to vote against the bill.
