ACTION ITEM... FLORIDA AMERICAN LAWS ONLY IN AMERICAN COURTS

THE FLORIDA ALAC PUSH CONTINUES

TODAY’S TWO-PART FOCUS:
SENATE PRESIDENT DON GAETZ &
YOUR INDIVIDUAL STATE SENATOR

Because we are in the home stretch, I’ve been sending out more Florida Action Alerts than usual lately, so thank you—both for your patience and for your continued hard work to see the Florida legislature pass American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) legislation.

Florida’s ALAC legislation, SB 58, was introduced by state Senator Alan Hays and protects Floridians’ individual constitutional rights from foreign laws or legal doctrines where the application of those laws/doctrines would violate those constitutional rights. No particular foreign law is singled out. The proposal applies to them all. It’s that simple.

The Sunshine State is well on its way to joining the FIVE other states who now have ALAC laws on the books, but as I reported in my last Action Alert, there are those who want to see this bill go away and they are fighting hard for that to happen.

During this legislative session, SB 58 passed in three committees in the Florida legislature and was placed in the hands of the Rules Committee to schedule a time for the bill to be brought to the full Senate for a final vote.

But surprisingly this action has not been taken—and the clock is running out.

Considering the strong level of support SB 58 has in the Florida community, this is unacceptable.
We must stay strong and we must stay vocal.

Today we need you to perform two quick but very important actions to help get Florida American Laws for American Courts legislation passed this session.
1. It is time for Senate President Don Gaetz to understand how important this bill is for you, and

2. It is time for each and every Florida state Senator to hear directly from their constituents about SB 58 so that they can relay the strong support in their community directly to the Senate Leadership.
You are a voter, so be ASSURED that they will listen to you!!

Can we count on you to help us with the following very important and time-sensitive actions—and to pass this information along to everyone you know?

*** TWO IMPORTANT AND TIME-SENSITIVE ACTION ITEMS ***
1. Last year, Florida’s ALAC bill was stopped dead in its tracks by then-Senate President Mike Haridopolos. We don’t want the current Senate President, Don Gaetz (850-487-5001) to do the same thing. TODAY, we need you to CALL Senate President Don Gaetz with the following short, but direct message:

Senator Gaetz,

Please don’t be another Haridopolos!

As a Florida voter, I’m asking you to please pass SB 58, American Laws for American Courts legislation, introduced by Senator Alan Hays!

Thank you for your leadership on this matter.

2. TODAY, we also need you to contact YOUR state Senator and respectfully, but firmly relay the following message in your own words.  Link to Florida Senators:  http://www.flsenate.gov

Senator,

I am extremely disappointed that SB 58 has not been placed on the Senate legislative agenda so that it can come before the full Senate for a simple up or down vote.

SB 58 was introduced by Senator Alan Hays in order to protect the constitutional rights of Floridians from the incursion of foreign laws and foreign legal doctrines.

The legislation protects Floridians’ constitutional rights from foreign laws or legal doctrines where the application of those laws/doctrines would violate those constitutional rights. No particular foreign law is singled out. The proposals apply to them all.

This bill is of the utmost importance to me. The Senate deserves to have a chance to vote on it during this legislative session!

I ask that you please do all you can to see this important bill brought before the full Senate for a vote, and that you vote “yes” so that Florida becomes the SIXTH state to sign this legislative language into law.

Thank you for your leadership on this vital matter.

Sincerely,

(Your name and city)

As always, thank you for all of your efforts. You ARE making a difference and we CAN get this done in Florida!
REMEMBER, YOUR VOICE COUNTS!
IF EACH OF US DOES JUST A LITTLE, TOGETHER WE CAN
ACCOMPLISH A LOT!

I am very disappointed that I am now represented by a Senator which I never voted for. This is all thanks to crazy reapportionment.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
