Contact needed today.. Vote 9am on Thursday

"I urgently request your support of the three above House bills to be heard by the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday, March 23, 2017."

HB-245 Burden of Proof restores the presumption of innocence in self-defense cases and puts the burden of proof back on the state where it belongs. Please back Rep. Bobby Payne on his bill.

CS/HB-779 Open Carry Protection removes criminal penalties for violations of the open carry law and keeps a person who has a concealed firearms license from being arrested and charged with a crime if their firearm becomes temporarily exposed to another person’s sight. This bill by Rep. Neil Combee needs your support also.

CS/HB-849 Carry on Church Property restores private property rights to churches and eliminates restrictions that prevent churches from allowing firearms on church property if church property is ever used for any type of schooling. This bill also by Rep. Neil Combee needs your support.

Thank you for your support of these 3 very important bills.

Beware of amendments!!!

A warning regarding all amendments.

My plan is to vote no on any amendment that contains a feature I do not like.  Even if said amendment has lots of things I like.

Please remember that if an amendment like that passes, it will take another super majority approval to attempt to later back out the ugly items you just approved, if it can ever be repealed at all.  It is best…
